Microchip treatment device for machine tool
12280462 · 2025-04-22 · ·

A flushing duct is installed on both sides of a table of the machine tool in a longitudinal direction of the table, a slope duct is inclinedly disposed below the flushing duct toward the coolant tank, each bottom surface of the flushing duct and the slope duct is formed with a V-shaped inclined surface and a streamlined bending portion to make flows of the coolant containing the microchips smooth, and a coolant supply valve is installed at a rear end of the flushing duct to facilitate flows of the coolant being discharged by supplying additional coolant. Further, a coolant tank is installed below the slope duct, a filter is installed in the coolant tank for filtering the microchips in the coolant. The coolant containing the microchips is transported through a return pump to a centrifugal separator device where the microchips contained in the coolant are centrifugally separated. A refined coolant through centrifugal separation is supplied to the machine tool, thereby preventing abnormal wear due to penetration of the microchips into rotating and sliding portions of the machine tool.

Optical Detection Of Interface Between Separated Fluid Components

An interface monitoring system is provided for detecting the location of an interface between separated fluid components within a channel of a centrifugal separation chamber having a rotational axis. The system includes a light source and a light detector, with the light source being configured to transmit a light along an initial path toward the rotational axis, into the centrifugal separation chamber, and through the channel of the centrifugal separation chamber. The light detector is configured to receive at least a portion of the light as the light exits the centrifugal separation chamber and generate a signal indicative of the location of the interface between separated fluid components within the channel of the centrifugal separation chamber, with the light detector being oriented to receive light traveling in a direction generally perpendicular to the initial path of the light.

Detergent-mixed dry hydrogel particle and concentration and specific activity enhancement of macromolecule

This invention belongs to the field of preparation of macromolecule sample of various volumes, pertaining to a detergent-mixed dry hydrogel particle and a method of using the particle to mass concentrate the macromolecule liquid sample or to enhance specific activity of the protein liquid sample. After thorough suspension and hydration in a detergent solution, the hydrogel particle is separated from the excess of the detergent solution and dried into the detergent-mixed dry hydrogel particle; upon contacting the macromolecule liquid sample in certain ratio with the dry particle having a pore size of its cross-linked network smaller than the macromolecule to allow absorption and swelling of the hydrogel particle, filter centrifugation or filter conical rotating drum centrifugation is exercised to remove the hydrogel particle whose surface is deprived of water and to collect the concentrate filtrate of the macromolecule mass or the protein sample with enhanced specific activity.

FILTER ARRANGEMENT

A filtration unit (100) configured to remove microparticles from a water stream from at least one washing machine (WM) is provided. The filtration unit comprises an inlet (110) configured to deliver a water stream (WS) from at least one washing machine (WM), a water reservoir (120) configured to receive the water stream (WS) from the inlet (110), a separator module (130) fluidly connected to the water reservoir (120), wherein the separator module (130) is configured to separate microparticles (MP) from the water stream (WS) creating a filtered water stream (FWS), and an outlet (150) configured to allow the filtered water stream (FWS) to leave the filtration unit (100). A method for removing microparticles from a water stream is also provided.

Smart solids control system

A material separation system is disclosed that may include a vibratory shaker, a centrifuge, a sensor, and/or a processor circuit. The vibratory shaker may be configured to separate a solid-liquid mixture into a first solids-containing component and a shaker effluent. The sensor may be configured to measure a property of one or more of the solid-liquid mixture, the first solids-containing component, the shaker effluent, and the second solids-containing. A well-performance analysis system may be configured to analyze mud reports of drilling rigs within a geographic basin to determine which rigs are performing inefficiently. The system may allow recommendations and send control signals to improve the efficiency of the solid-liquid separation system. The system may allow an operator to view agglomerated well performance data to identify which rigs are performing below a geographic basin baseline and make informed decisions to improve the functioning of a solid-liquid separation system associated with one or more drilling rigs.
