Manufacturing methods are described for a goggle having an outrigger system where each outrigger includes a first segment coupled to a second segment at a fixed joint. Portions of the first segment may interlock or join with complementary portions of the second segment, such as through interlocking shapes, a solid friction lock, or via co-molding. The joining portions of the first and second segments may include complementary shapes that interlock together to secure the first and second segments together. The second segment may be molded onto or around at least a portion of the first segment, or vice versa, to secure the first and second segments together.

The dry mount adhesive may be self-wetting to attach the stack to the lens so that air between the stack and the lens can be removed after the stack is attached and/or adhered to the lens, for example, by applying pressure across the surface of the stack. The refractive indices of the lens, the dry mount adhesive, and each removable layer are matched to within about 0.2.

A system is provided for use by athletes and their coaches during practice. The system includes an electronic system configured for inclusion in a helmet. The electronic system includes a transparent display screen coupled to the helmet, a processor coupled to the transparent display screen, a camera coupled to the processor and a first wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. The system also includes a handheld processing device. The handheld processing device includes a second wireless transceiver configured to communicate video content with the first wireless transceiver, an interactive display screen configured to display the first video and a video editing application configured to edit the first video to generate a second video including a simulated player technique superimposed in the first video. The second video is communicated from the handheld processing device to the electronic system for display to the athlete via the transparent display screen.

A face mask is fluidly coupled to the exhaust hose to receive the pressurized air from the exhaust hose thereby inhibiting the user from breathing ambient air.
