Eyewear frame with integral roll-off system
A goggle includes a frame, a lens, and a roll-off system. The frame has a first lateral end and an opposing second lateral end. The frame defines a lens cavity. The lens is disposed within the lens cavity of the frame. The roll-off system includes a first canister, a second canister, and an actuator mechanism. The first canister is at least partially integrally formed with the first lateral end of the frame. The first canister defines a first interior cavity configured to store a roll of film. The second canister is at least partially integrally formed with the opposing second lateral end of the frame. The second canister defines a second interior cavity configured to receive a strip of film from the roll of film. The actuator mechanism is configured to facilitate selectively dispensing the strip of film from the first canister across the lens to the second canister.
MODIFICATION TO LEADED EYEWEAR FOR SIGNIFICANT OPERATOR EYE RADIATION DOSE REDUCTION
The present disclosure provides a removable eyewear shielding device, an eyewear comprising a removable eyewear shielding device, and methods of uses thereof for reducing eye radiation exposure, reducing ipsilateral brain radiation exposure, reducing FGI-induced lens opacification, reducing cataract development, or protecting an eye or ipsilateral brain from radiation exposure.
ENHANCED ADHESIVE LENS COVER SET AND GASKET THEREFOR
An enhanced adhesive lens cover set for use with a wearable viewing lens such as goggles or a helmet. The lens includes alignment means in proximity to the outer circumference. The laminated plurality of disposable lens covers has a pliable gasket disposed on a rearward surface thereof for adhesive attachment to the viewing lens inside of the alignment means. A releasable gasket for use with a prior art lens cover set is also disclosed. The gasket is of a deformable thickness, to minimize the likelihood of a breach of the circumferential seal between the lens cover set and the viewing lens when the disposable lens covers are peeled away.
Headgear with covered edge
A headgear assembly includes a strap of a first flexible material with an elongate edge, and a second flexible material folded around and running along the elongate edge. The second flexible material may be an elastic material. The second flexible material may also cover an intersection or joint in the first flexible material such that the first flexible material may be made from two flexible materials layered together or joined end to end.

Metal-detectable lens assemblies and protective eyewear including same
Protective eyewear lens assemblies include one or more metal-detectable components and a lens body formed in-situ around the one or more metal-detectable components. The lens body is formed from a polymeric material such that the one or more metal-detectable component is permanently embedded within the lens body. Protective eyewear including such lens assemblies and methods of manufacture are also included.

SPORTS EYEWEAR PROTECTOR
A sports eyewear lens protector 10 for temporarily protecting the sports eyewear lens, the sports eyewear lens protector comprising: at least one disposable protector layer comprising an optically clear film formed from a compostable polymer material, the protector layer include a lens protecting portion 14 for covering at least a portion of the lens of the eyewear, a handle portion 16 extending from a first side of the lens protecting portion for allowing a user of the eyewear to grip and remove the protector layer from the eyewear, and at least two mounting apertures 20a,20b for mounting the lens protector to the sports eyewear lens, each mounting aperture being disposed to a side of the lens protecting portion.
Apparatus for protecting eyes from radiation
The invention relates to an apparatus for protecting eyes from radiation, in particular for protecting the lenses of the eyes of medical personnel from x-ray radiation or other ionizing radiation during medical examinations. The apparatus is easy to handle and ensures shielding of the eyes from x-ray radiation, but nonetheless offers the best working and viewing conditions for the wearer. This is achieved by a housing made of a shell-type frame, which encloses the eye area and laterally the temples of the wearer, and a support device for placement on the head and with a nose rest for positioning on the bridge of the nose. The frame includes a frontal opening, in which a shield opaque to x-ray radiation is fitted, and at least one video playback device is arranged on the rear side of the shield, facing toward the eyes, inside the frame, and being coupled to an optical recording device or a camera, which is arranged on the side of the shield that faces away from the wearer.
APPAREL AND/OR METHODS FOR COMBATING VIRUSES
A device for creating an air curtain protecting a human respiratory system is described. The device can be a hat and/or collar worn by a person and includes a constant or on demand flow of air that passes across a person's face to create an air curtain. The flow of air moving across the face blows airborne viruses away from a person's eyes, nose, and mouth. Another concept includes a glove that is outfitted with a device that purifies the glove. A battery could be mounted on a person's wrist or forearm with a small wire running down the glove. Likewise, the glove could be outfitted with UV light embedded on the surface or just underneath a permeable/top layer of the glove. Still further, the glove can carry electrical pulses aimed to kill viruses every ten seconds or so.
