SELF-TREATING ELECTROLYTIC BIOCIDE GENERATING SYSTEM WITH RETRO-FITTING FEATURES FOR USE ON-BOARD A WATERCRAFT
The present disclosure relates to a biocide generating system for inhibiting bio-fouling within a water system of a watercraft. The water system is configured to draw water from a body of water on which the watercraft is supported. The biocide generating system includes an electrode arrangement adapted to be incorporated as part of an electrolytic cell through which the water of the water system flows. The water system is configured such that biocide treated water also flows to one or more components of the water system that are positioned upstream of the electrode arrangement.
Water treatment device
The present invention provides a water treatment device comprising: a filtering unit for filtering raw water; a storing unit comprising a first chamber for storing purified water, which has passed through at least a predetermined number of filters provided in the filtering unit and thus has been filtered, and a second chamber, the volume of which changes according to the volume change of the first chamber; an extraction unit installed to provide the user with the purified water that has been filtered; an sterilizing water supply unit for supplying sterilizing water in order to sterilize/disinfect the storing unit; and a control unit for controlling the driving of the sterilizing water supply unit and the opening/closing of a channel for supplying the sterilizing water.
Filter method for filtering a fluid and adjusting a pre-treatment agent based on a process variable
a filtering method, with which a fluid to be filtered is led through a filter (4), the filter (4) is back-flushed at regular time intervals and a pre-treatment agent is added to the fluid at the entry side of the filter. A process variable which describes the efficiency of the filtration is continuously computed during the filtration, and a metering quantity of the pre-treatment agent is reset on the basis of the values for the process variable or a characteristic values derived from this.
FILTERING DEVICE AND CONTROL SYSTEM
A filtering device includes a water pump, a filter cartridge, and a communicating tube for coupling the water pump with the filter cartridge. The filtering device further includes a flow switch attached to the communicating tube and configured to change switching states in response to a water flow rate in the communicating tube being lower than a predetermined value. The filtering device further includes a reminding device operably connected to the water flow switch. The reminding device generates a reminder signal when the state of the water flow indicates that the flow rate of the water in the communicating tube is lower than the predetermined value. The control system includes a control panel for the filtering pump, a central control system, and a filtration detecting system. The control panel is connected to the central control system and the central control system is connected to the filtration detecting system.
Filtration system utilizing actuated flow control valve
A filtration system with a filter out of which filtered medium exits are provided. The system includes a control panel that receives pressure and flow rate information of the medium and uses the pressure information to send a first signal to prevent a pressure differential of the medium from exceeding a first set point yet maintain filtration of the medium. The control panel uses the flow rate information to send a second signal to prevent the flow rate of the medium from exceeding a second set point yet maintain filtration of the medium. An actuated flow control valve is present that opens at different amounts, and the medium flows through the actuated flow control valve.
FLUID SYNTHESIS MONITORING SYSTEM
A system (10) for moving a fluid (12) includes a flow-circuit element (30) and a control system (32) that monitors an operational condition of the flow-circuit element (30). The control system (32) includes a first sensor (82) that monitors a first sensed condition, and a second sensor (84) that monitors a second sensed condition that is different from the first sensed condition. Further, the control system (32) includes a processor (76) that analyzes the first sensed condition and the second sensed condition to monitor the operational condition of the flow-circuit element (30).
Multivariate automated crossflow filter control
A control system and a control method for automated controlling of a crossflow filtration system, as well as a corresponding crossflow filtration system, are provided. The control system comprises a measurement value processing unit configured to receive a plurality of sensor signals from a plurality of sensors of the crossflow filtration system; and to determine a plurality of process parameters defining an operation state of the crossflow filtration system based on the plurality of sensor signals.
WATER PURIFIER AND FLOW RATE CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A water purifier according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a filtering unit for producing purified water by filtering influent water; a TDS measuring unit for measuring the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water flowing into the filtering unit; a purified water passage through which the purified water is discharged; a concentrated water passage through which concentrated water, filtered by the filtering unit, is discharged; a concentrated water flow control valve for controlling the flow rate of the concentrated water discharged through the concentrated water passage; and a control unit for adjusting the degree of opening and closing of the concentrated water control valve, on the basis of the TDS and the pressure of the water flowing into the filtering unit.
System And Method For Filtration Of Industrial And Mobile Fluids
A filtration system includes a variable speed pump having a direct current motor in communication with a source of fluid to be filtered, and a filter assembly having in communication the variable speed pump and with the source of fluid, such that the source of fluid, the variable speed pump and the filter assembly define a kidney-loop filtration circuit in which the fluid is circulated and filtered. A control circuit in communication with the direct current motor varies a voltage supplied to the direct current motor such that the speed of the direct current motor is variable and consequently the flow of fluid through the variable speed pump and through the filter assembly is variable between 0.05 gpm and 0.45 gpm. The direct current motor draws current and produces an output of less than 0.10 hp.
