Anti-Corrosion Fluid Filter System
An apparatus, method, and system for fluid filtration utilizing a metal alloy core comprised of zinc, nickel, tin, lead, silver, iron, and a remainder of copper. The shapes and sizes of the metal alloy can comprise rods, balls, shavings, tubes, or shot. These shapes and sizes of the metal alloy can then be placed within the various vessels used in the oil and natural gas industries.
NEEDLE-PUNCHED FILTRATION COMPOSITE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
The present disclosure describes a needle-punched filtration composite. The needle-punched filtration composite includes a nonwoven layers having a blend of acrylic staple fibers and a high temperature resistant synthetic staple fibers with glass fabric layer. The top nonwoven layer, the glass fabric layer and bottom nonwoven layer are needle-punched together to make a single nonwoven fabric. This fabric is passed through mechanical and chemical finishes. It is stable up to high temperature ranges 250-350? C. The fabric is resistant to acid and alkali. The fabric is also made oil and water repellent by chemical finishing treatment. The developed fabric is used for air and gas filtration applications.
Battery containing acid resistant nonwoven fiber mat with biosoluble microfibers
Acid-resistant and biosoluble glass compositions and products made therefrom. The glass compositions exhibit acid resistance, durability in white water as may be used in a wet laid fabrication process, and good biosolubility. In another aspect, a glass fiber mat is made from such a glass composition, and may be used in the manufacture of lead-acid batteries, for example as a pasting material or battery separator.
Filter means and filter element for treating a flushing liquid for material-removing machining and method for material-removing machining
The invention relates to a filter device for treating a rinsing liquid for material-removing machining, said filter device having a filter element through which the rinsing liquid can be conducted for separating removed material particles. In order to increase the service life, the filter element is provided with a filter fabric, on the filtration upper side of which are formed fabric pores in the form of distinctive longitudinal slots which have a ratio of length to width of 4:1.
Filter material for a fluid and drainage layer for such a filter material including a filter element
A filter material for a fluid, particularly a hydraulic fluid, has a multi-layer filter medium (10) through which a fluid can flow and having a filter layer (20) and a drainage layer (32) forming a three-dimensional structure designed to enlarge the flow channels formed for the fluid to flow through. The drainage layer cooperates with an adjacent drainage layer and/or has individual line elements (33) that form a mesh or grid structure. Those line elements are arc-shaped or curved at least to some extent.
Cell collector having an expandable mesh
A cell collection device having an elongated member and a mesh disposed about the elongated member. The mesh has a low energy expanded state and a high energy compressed state. A sheath is disposed about a distal end of the elongated member and is slidable along the elongated member from a first position in which the sheath radially constrains the mesh to the high energy compressed state and a second position in which the sheath does not constrain the mesh.
FILTER DEVICE
Disclosed is a filter device for an additive manufacturing device for purifying a process gas of the additive manufacturing device, where the filter device for purifying a process gas during operation has at least one permanent filter, where the permanent filter has at least one coating as well as a method for manufacturing such a filter device. Further disclosed is an additive manufacturing device as well as a method for additive manufacturing.
FINE FIBER MEDIA LAYER
Disclosed are improved polymer materials. Also disclosed are fine fiber materials that can be made from the improved polymeric materials in the form of microfiber and nanofiber structures. The microfiber and nanofiber structures can be used in a variety of useful applications including the formation of filter materials.
Process for Fabric of Continuous Graphitic Fiber Yarns
Multi-functional and high-performing fabric comprising a first layer of yarns woven to form the fabric wherein the yarns comprise at least one unitary graphene-based continuous graphitic fiber comprising at least 90% by weight of graphene planes that are chemically bonded with one another having an inter-planar spacing d.sub.002 from 0.3354 nm to 0.4 nm as determined by X-ray diffraction and an oxygen content less than 5% by weight. A majority of the graphene planes in such a continuous graphitic fiber are parallel to one another and parallel to a fiber axis direction. The graphitic fiber contains no core-shell structure, has no helically arranged graphene domains or domain boundaries, and has a porosity level less than 5% by volume, more typically less than 2%, and most typically less than 1% (practically pore-free).
Cabin air filter
An apparatus and a method are provided for a cabin air filter to remove airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds from a passenger compartment of a vehicle. The cabin air filter includes a supportive frame configured to suitably orient the cabin air filter within a ventilation system of the vehicle. The supportive frame having a shape and size suitable for supporting the cabin air filter within the ventilation system. A filter medium is retained within the supportive frame and configured to remove the airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds from air flowing through the ventilation system. The filter medium electrostatically attracts and agglomerates contaminants within the air flowing through the air filter. In some embodiments, the filter medium includes fibers treated with antimicrobial molecules configured to destroy microbes. In some embodiments, the filter medium includes fibrous materials configured to release a fragrance into the passenger compartment.
