PLATE FILTER FOR COFFEE MAKERS AND THE LIKE, AND COFFEE MAKER INCLUDING SAID FILTER
A plate filter for coffee makers and the like, such as moka pots, Neapolitan flip coffee makers, coffee presses, or percolators, comprises a filtering wall (6a) provided with a plurality of holes or apertures (8) that define as a whole a substantially mesh-like structure having, according to the DIN 791 standard, a long side of mesh pitch or major diagonal (DL) that is less than 2 mm±5%, in particular comprised between 0.1 and 1.9 mm±5%, preferably comprised between 0.6 and 1 mm±5%, and even more preferably of 0.85 mm±5%.
FILTRATION MEDIA INCLUDING POROUS POLYMERIC MATERIAL AND DEGRADABLE SHAPE MEMORY MATERIAL
A fluid control device includes a support structure configured to be deployed to a selected location in a borehole, and a filtration medium disposed at the support structure and configured to filter a fluid, the filtration medium configured to be compacted from an initial shape to a compacted shape prior to deployment in the borehole. The filtration medium includes a first polymeric material configured to withstand a temperature at the selected location, the first polymeric material forming a porous structure including a plurality of fluid passages, and a second polymeric material including a shape memory polymer disposed within the fluid passages, the shape memory polymer configured to expand in the plurality of fluid passages and cause the filtration medium to expand in the borehole.
FILTERING MODULE
A filtering module includes at least one reinforced aluminum side plate and at least one filtering mesh. The reinforced aluminum side plate surrounds to form a rectangular frame. The reinforced aluminum side plate includes a top plate, a connecting plate, a base plate and a positioning plate. The connecting plate is connected between the top plate and the base plate. The base plate and the top plate are substantially parallel with each other. The base plate has a treated surface away from the top plate and configured to abut against a fan filtering unit. The top plate has a supporting surface away from the base plate. The positioning plate is disposed perpendicularly on the supporting plate and aligns with the connecting plate. The filtering mesh is at least partially supported on the supporting surface and at least partially abuts against the positioning plate.
ACTIVE AIR FILTER FOR TREATMENT OF BACTERIA AND VIRUSES
An active air filter device for disrupting or destroying bacteria and/or viruses, the filter including at least one layer of porous conductive material, and energy source creating current and/or voltage and/or electric field and/or magnetic field, propagated throughout the conductive material.
FILTRATION OF FLUIDS USING CONFORMABLE POROUS SHAPE MEMORY MEDIA
A fluid control device includes a support structure configured to be deployed in a borehole, and a filtration component disposed at the support structure, the filtration component including a porous medium made from a thermoplastic polymer material, the porous medium including an open cell foam. The porous medium has a porosity selected to cause the porous medium to exhibit shape memory behavior, and the porous medium is configured to be compacted from an initial shape to a compacted shape, deployed in the borehole, and subsequently expanded due to a downhole temperature to conform to a surface of the borehole.

EM filter for EGR cooler
An EM filter for an EGR cooler includes a gasket and a mesh filter including a horizontal wire and a vertical wire that are metal wires, wherein the horizontal wire and the vertical wire form a twill weave structure, and wherein a wire diameter of the horizontal wire with respect to a wire diameter of the vertical wire is greater than 1 and less than or equal to 1.3.
Mobile Purification Device Having Heated Filter for Killing Biological Species, Including COVID-19
An apparatus is used with supplied power for treating air in an environment. A housing is mobile in the environment and has an intake and an exhaust. At least one prime mover disposed in the housing between the intake and the exhaust is operable to move the air in the environment through the housing from the intake to the exhaust. At least one ultraviolet light source disposed in the housing is connected in electrical communication with the supplied power and is configured to generate ultraviolet radiation in at least one a portion of the housing through which the moved air passes from the intake to the exhaust. At least one permeable barrier disposed in the housing is configured to impede the moved air flow therethrough up to an impedance threshold. The at least one permeable barrier is connected in electrical communication to the supplied power and being heated to a surface temperature.
SELF-CLEANING INTAKE FILTER
An intake filter including a cylindrical screen assembly and a drive unit; where the drive unit is attached to the intake filter and configured to rotate the screen assembly about a longitudinal axis of said screen assembly, such that the drive unit lies entirely outside the volume of the screen assembly.
