Device for the precipitation of particles from a gas stream
The invention relates to a device for precipitating liquid and/or particulate impurities from a gas stream, comprising at least one first guiding element and at least one second guiding element, it being possible to impose at least one first change in direction on the gas stream by means of said first guiding element, and to impose at least one second change in direction on the gas stream by means of the second guiding element, the fluid stream additionally flowing in a substantially laminar manner along the first guiding element and the second guiding element.

Aerosol separator for separating aerosols in a blow-by gas
The invention relates to an aerosol separator for separating aerosols in a blow-by gas, which comprises at least one feed opening for feeding a blow-by gas provided with aerosols, an outlet opening for discharging a blow-by gas cleaned of aerosols, at least one outflow opening for releasing aerosols removed from the blow-by gas, and which is arranged between a flow path of the at least one feed opening and the outlet opening, and a plurality of projections for configuring the flow path running from the at least one feed opening to the outflow opening in a meandering manner, in order to decelerate the blow-by gas which enters the feed opening and which is provided with aerosols, in terms of its flow rate. The separator is characterized in that the projections in their end region, around which blow-by gas flows, have a portion with increasing projection width.

SEE-THROUGH FACE MASK AND FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR THE SAME
This invention provides a see-through full face mask and hood that integrates effective filtration for both inhaled and exhaled air. The mask includes a transparent visor mounted on a headband and surrounded by a frame. The headband or the frame (sides, bottom, etc.) can include a filtration assembly that allows passive inflow and outflow of air in a manner that is highly breathable. The frame generally seals against the users face in a comfortable manner. The visor can be surrounded by a subframe that can be moved upwardly out of engagement with a base frame—which remains attached to the wearer to expose the user's mouth for eating. The filtration assembly defines a plurality of tortuous or circuitous-path filtration tubes that employ bends, baffles, charged surfaces and/or other internal barriers to redirect airflow and thereby trap microdroplets containing pathogens until such pathogens can be rendered inactive.

Modular filter system
A separator system for separating drops and solid particles from an air inlet flow. The separator system includes an air inlet channel opening and a separating body which is internally installed. The separating body is arranged downstream of the air inlet channel opening so as to completely cover the air inlet channel opening and to extend flat in a mounting plane. The separating body is provided as a modular design and includes, in the mounting plane, at least one first separating part, and at least one second separating part which is arranged to be separate from the at least one first separating part.
