CRYOGENIC COOLING SYSTEM FOR AN AIRCRAFT
An engine-driven cryogenic cooling system for an aircraft includes a first air cycle machine, a second air cycle machine, and a means for condensing a chilled air stream into liquid air for an aircraft use. The first air cycle machine includes a plurality of components operably coupled to a gearbox of a gas turbine engine and configured to produce a cooling air stream based on a first engine bleed source of the gas turbine engine. The second air cycle machine is operable to output the chilled air stream at a cryogenic temperature based on a second engine bleed source cooled by the cooling air stream of the first air cycle machine.

HEAT EXCHANGER WITH PIPE BUNDLE
A heat exchanger including a pipe bundle to guide a fluid between first and second pipe connectors, the pipes being distributed in layers of pipes, wherein pipes of each of the layers of pipes each includes two bends, wherein a length of a flow path section is at least 1.7 times greater than lengths of two other flow path sections. A first bend of the two bends is provided between the longer flow path section and a first of the shorter flow path section, and wherein a second of the two bends is provided between the first, shorter flow path section and the other shorter flow path section, and wherein each of the layers of pipes includes two pipe subgroups. The second bend in one of the pipe subgroups in the pipe layer is opposite to the second bend-in the other pipe subgroup of the same pipe layer.

FILTER MODULE FOR THE SEPARATION OF OVERSPRAY
A filter module, including a plurality of filter elements for separating overspray from an air flow, the filter module including a reusable and cleanable frame configured as a support structure for components for collecting overspray, and a plurality of components inserted into the frame for collecting overspray, wherein the components for collecting overspray are at least filter elements and linings in the frame, which are configured as disposable, single-use products the filter elements form at least a first filter stage, and all the surfaces of the frame which are exposed to the air flow upstream of the first filter stage are provided with the linings such that the surfaces of the frame are protected against overspray.
VARIABLE-ANGLE BAFFLE ARRANGEMENT FOR AIR-LIQUID SEPARATION
An air-liquid separation assembly for separating air and liquid from an air-liquid mixture comprises a housing through which fluid flows, a main separator positioned within the housing, and a sub-separator. The sub-separator is positioned within the housing before or after the main separator and defines a plurality of slots. Each of the plurality of slots is positioned either between adjacent baffles of the sub-separator or between a baffle of the sub-separator and a portion of the housing. The plurality of slots are positioned next to each other in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow through the housing. The plurality of slots comprises a first subset of slots and a second subset of slots. The second subset of slots extends at a different angle than the first subset of slots such that fluid flows through the first subset of slots and the second subset of slots at different angles.
