An air filtration system includes a main body having a flow path; a first filter portion provided on the flow path and having a first body portion; a plurality of protrusions distributed and disposed on the first body portion; and a plurality of first through holes passing through the first body portion and interposed between the adjacent protrusions; wherein when an external fluid flows in the flow path, the external fluid passes through the protrusions first and then passes through each of the first through holes, so that the flowing external fluid is hindered by the protrusions, and thus a flow velocity at a position adjacent to the protrusions is lower than a flow velocity flowing through the first through holes, thereby vortices are respectively generated between orifices of the first through holes and the adjacent protrusions. Self-contained negative pressure environment device and system

A system configured to create a self-contained negative pressure environment (SCONE) to remove airborne particulates emitted from a patient. The system prevents exposure to pathogenic biological airborne particulates during triage, transportation, and treatment, including aerosol generating procedures (AGPs) and end of life care. This system is directed to a collapsible device having a flexible cover covering two support members, with openings in the flexible cover such that medical professionals can reach in and operate within. The present invention is further adaptable to patients and operating environments of various sizes.

FRONT-LOADED INLINE MODULAR FILTRATION SYSTEM

The present invention is disinfecting air filtration apparatus that allows multiple disinfecting air filtration modules to function in parallel. The apparatus may provide energy to respective parts of a filtration apparatus, such as a V-Bank filter apparatus. The apparatus may also include a front-mounted pre-filter frame that can be secured to other parts of the apparatus without tools. The securing of the pre-filter frame grounds the air filtration module and creates an airtight interface between the air filtration module and the array. Methods consistent with the present disclosure allow for filter apparatus to be connected to or coupled to virtually any size air ducts of an air distribution or a high voltage alternating current air conditioning (HVAC) system.

Filter device

A filter device has a housing plate with a sleeve extending along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the housing plate. The sleeve guides fluid containing particles along an inner sleeve surface to separate particles from the fluid and discharge the particles via a discharge window of the sleeve. An immersion tube plate opposite the housing plate has an immersion tube projecting coaxially into the sleeve for outflow of the fluid. The immersion tube has a sealing and centering section about an outer circumference of the immersion tube that forms a sealing surface parallel to the longitudinal axis and radially seals with an inner surface of the sleeve. The sealing and centering section extends about the immersion tube to provide coaxial alignment with the sleeve. A radial and/or axial expansion of the sealing and centering section is reduced in a predetermined region of the immersion tube opposite the discharge window.

A FILTER FOR A HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM

Filters for surgical procedures including a fluid pathway to transport fluid, such as smoke and/or gases, exhausted from a surgical site, a humidity regulating element located along the fluid pathway, and a filter element located downstream of the humidity regulating element such that the humidity regulating element and the filter element are in fluid communication with each other. The humidity regulating element is configured to remove or reduce humidity from the smoke and/or gases exhausted from the surgical site prior to the smoke and/or gases reaching the filter element. The filter element is configured to filter particulate matter from the smoke and/or gases exhausted from the surgical site.

Self-Locking Manifold and Filter

A filter that is self-locking to a filter manifold includes a flange having a major axis and a minor axis in plan view, and that is longer along the major axis than the minor axis. The filter further includes a stopper on the major axis, that can contact a filter manifold when the filter is inserted into the manifold and rotated. The filter can be used with a filter manifold having a slot with an opening having a width greater than the length of the minor axis and smaller than the length along the major axis of the flange, and past the opening, has sufficient width to accommodate the length of the major axis. This arrangement allows the flange to be inserted into the slot in an insertion orientation, but does not permit the flange to pass through the opening of the slot when it is in a locking position.

Sealed intake air system

A sealed intake air system incorporates a positive connection seal interface between the air filter and the airbox with captive fasteners to provide a positive connection between the air filter and the one-piece airbox.

System and method for preventing debris buildup in vacuum sensor lines

A system for preventing debris buildup in vacuum sensor lines includes: a manifold, including a positive air pressure source and a controller; and one or more positive air pressure lines. Each positive air pressure line is in fluid communication with the manifold and can be placed in fluid communication with a vacuum sensor line. The controller is operably connected to and selectively activates the positive air pressure source to emit a positive flow of air, which can be directed into the one or more positive air pressure lines, and then into and through the associated vacuum sensor lines to evacuate debris. In some embodiments, a positive flow of air can also be directed through one or more vacuum lines of the end effector to promote the release of a parcel engaged with the end effector and/or clear the vacuum lines of debris.

The air filter precleaner includes a filter medium between a base and a grating that are fastened over an opening into an interior of the air filter box. The filter medium comprises a sheet of filter material having a shape and a size suitable for being supported between the base and the grating. The base is a rigid member that supports the filter medium in a sheet configuration, such that the airstream passes through the filter medium before entering the air filter box. The grating is a rigid member comprising a screen portion surrounded by a frame that is configured to be fastened onto the air filter box. The screen portion comprises a shaped lattice that allows the airstream to pass through the filter medium before entering the air filter box.
