A transverse secondary dust collector is to have a sealable housing transversely provided therein with a blower set, an air intake barrel and an air guide barrel. Thus, after outside dust is sucked into the air intake barrel, the dust will produce helical airflow at the inner wall of the air guide barrel. In the process of sucking in dust, heavy dust will reduce kinetic energy and naturally fall into the dust collecting barrel, while light dust will be attracted by the blower set and guided to get into the filter barrel, and after filtration, clean air will be exhausted to the outside. The blower set, the air intake barrel, the air guide barrel and the dust collecting barrel of the transverse secondary dust collector can be collectively installed in the housing, able to diminish the volume of the dust collector and lower noise.

The objective of this invention is to provide a filter module for coating equipment that can improve the efficiency in removing coating-material mist and preventing the outflow of such coating-material mist to the outside. The filter module of this invention is made of a flammable material and includes an outer box, an eliminator and a baffle plate. Of the outer box, the air A2 containing the coating-material mist flows into the outer box from the outer-box inlet and is discharged from the outer-box outlet. The eliminator is formed by arranging zigzag-shaped eliminator elements in parallel to separate the coating-material mist from the air A2. The baffle plate is formed by arranging baffle-plate elements having an inclined surface for guiding the air A2 in parallel into the inflow-side space S2 of the eliminator, and guides the air A2 that has been introduced from the outer-box inlet to the inflow-side space S2.

A base clip retained by a proximal portion of a shank engages a flange of the frame, and a filter/pre-filter clip is retained by a distal portion of the shank. The filter/pre-filter clip has a proximal retaining formation that forms a distal retaining surface of a first reception area for retaining a filter and a proximal retaining surface of a second reception area for retaining a pre-filter and a distal retaining formation that forms a distal retaining surface of the second reception area. The filter/pre-filter clip is pivotable about a longitudinal axis between a first condition wherein the proximal and distal retaining formations retain the filter and the pre-filter and a second condition wherein the proximal and distal retaining formations face away from the filter aperture to release the filter and the pre-filter.
