Air purifier with plant pot

An air purifier may have a casing defining a support to receive a substrate of a plant, an artificial plant and/or a removable pot. The casing forms a chamber, an outer wall of the casing defining one or more air inlets, and one or more air outlets. An air filter(s) is housed in the chamber. A fan os housed within the chamber. A motor is operable to drive the fan, whereby the fan is operable to draw in air through one or more air inlets in the casing and through the air filter, the fan further operable to expel the drawn-in air through the one or more air outlets in the casing.

Filter sheet and filter

A filter bondable to a grille is provided. The filter is fixable alone to the grille so as not to separate therefrom without using another element such as a hook and loop fastener. The filter is constituted by a filter body and ears integrally connected to the outer edge of the filter body. The filter is bondable to the grille by bringing the filer body into abutment with the front surface of the grille, and bending the ears relative to the filter body until the ears abut against the side surface of the grille. By forming the ears at the filter, and bringing the ears into abutment with the side surface of the grille so as to be bonded thereto, it is possible to increase the attachment strength of the filter relative to the grille, compared to conventional filters each constituted by only a filter body.

Dust Filter Attachment Device

A dust filter attachment device is disclosed, which is a dust filter attachment for an HVAC system. The dust filter attachment device comprises a perimeter frame configured in various shapes to accommodate a variety of air vent openings. The perimeter frame comprises an open center region which comprises a porous fabric configured to collect dust. An interior side of the perimeter frame includes a plurality of magnetic fasteners which are adhered to the interior side of the perimeter frame. The magnetic fasteners releasably secure the device to an exterior frame of an air return vent.

Single-use filter component, a method for treating air and use of a polymer or copolymer of divinylbenzene

The present disclosure relates to a single-use filter component for removing NO.sub.2 in an air-treatment system, the component comprising a polymeric composition as an air-filtration medium, the polymeric composition comprising a plurality of free vinyl groups, wherein the component permits inspection of the air-filtration medium by an end-user to determine when the filter is spent, based on a white to yellow colour change, or comprises an optical sensor configured to notify the end-user of the colour change. The present disclosure further relates to a single-use filter component for simultaneously removing NO.sub.2 in an air-treatment system, wherein the component comprises a HEPA filter formed from a polymeric composition comprising a plurality of free vinyl groups. The present disclosure further relates to an air treatment system, to a method of treating air and to the use of a polymer or copolymer of divinylbenzene for forming an air-filtration medium.

FILTER, USE OF FILTER ELEMENT IN FILTER, FILTER ELEMENT, AND MOTOR VEHICLE

A filter has a filter housing with a filter housing cover coupled to a filter housing part to close a receiving space configured to receive a first filter element and a second filter element each provided with a filter medium body and a frame device around the filter medium body. The filter housing has a radially projecting, circumferential contact shoulder in the receiving space. The filter housing cover, when mounted, exerts an axial clamping force on the frame device of the first filter element. The clamping force is transmitted through the frame device of the first filter element to the frame device of the second filter element. The frame device of the second filter element has a circumferential seal with a hollow chamber profile pressed by the clamping force on the contact shoulder to seal-tightly contact the contact shoulder.

A frame for a foldable and disposable air filter media is disclosed. The frame has a frame base and a frame cover having a size to overlap the air filter media. The frame cover is attached to the frame base by hinges allowing movement of the frame cover between an open position and a closed latched position. The closed frame holds the air filter media between the frame base and frame cover when in the closed position. The frame base includes an air flow monitoring system with an air pressure differential sensor to determine when the filter needs to be replaced. The frame also has capability to hold additional sensors for monitoring environmental conditions. A processor and memory enable collection and storage of sensed data. A communication module on the frame communicates air filter media change requirement to external devices including hand-held devices or a cloud server.

REFRIGERATING APPLIANCE

A refrigerator has a storage compartment defined by a plurality of walls and a filter device. One of the walls has a through hole extending between an inner surface of the respective wall facing the storage compartment and an opposite outer surface of the respective wall. The filter device has a housing including a container, which defines an interior space and an access opening through which the interior space is accessible, and a lid, which is coupled to the container, and a filter material accommodated in the interior space. The housing is arranged such that the access opening is positioned corresponding to the through hole of the respective wall. The housing further contains a flange extending from the container, the flange is adhesively connected to the outer surface of the respective wall. The lid is movable to cover the access opening through the through hole of the respective wall.
