Industrial coating application filter with pleated support

A filter for industrial coating filtration systems. The filter has a housing made up of a peripheral wall extending around the periphery. The housing is preferably made of a suitably rigid material. A preferably rigid support backing is mounted within the housing. The support backing has a planar configuration with openings formed through it so that gas can flow through without substantial resistance. The preferably planar sheet of which the support backing is made is pleated. The pleated support backing defines a series of panels, each of which is angled to a next adjacent panel. Filtration media is mounted to the support backing, end caps are attached to the ends of the support backing to maintain the pleated configuration, and the assembly is inserted into the housing, which can have end flaps to seal using tape or adhesive.

The V-bank filter having an operating position having a distance, O, between individual filter panels measured at an open end of the one or more V-configurations when in the operating position and a collapsed position having a distance, C, between individual filter panels measured at the open end when in the collapsed position. The distance C is less than the distance O when the V-bank filter is placed into the collapsed position and the plurality of filters panels can be moved between the collapsed position and the operating position while maintaining a substantially air tight connection between the plurality of filter panels and the first flexible side panel and while maintaining a substantially air tight connection between the plurality of filter panels and the second flexible side panel.

VARIABLE AIR FILTER ASSEMBLIES

An air filter assembly includes a filter element having at least one variable dimension, and a frame for engaging and supporting the filter element. The frame may include a plurality of linear segments forming a rectangular configuration, and a plurality of clips for connecting the linear segments together at corners thereof. The linear segments may be L-channel segments, C-channel segments, or may be of other form. Clips may be used for connecting the linear segments together at the corners. The filter element may have a pattern of creases or fold lines to facilitate folding thereof from an expanded configuration to a reduced configuration. A grate may be included for spanning an area bounded by the frame to support the filter element. The grate may have multiple arms and a central hub. An edge treatment may form a seal between the filter element and the frame.

Inlet frame and filter assembly including an inlet frame

A filter assembly including a rectangular inlet frame having a rectangular inlet opening configured to receive a primary filter and optionally a prefilter. The filter assembly may include a rectangular outlet frame and a housing body. The rectangular inlet frame may also be used as a housing by itself to support and house primary filters and prefilters. A gridwork including one or more grid dividers may be used in the rectangular inlet frame to provide 2 or more openings for receipt of filters.

A foldable filter bank and a filter assembly for a filter cabinet is disclosed. The filter cabinet is adapted to accommodate and hold the filter bank in a deployed state. The filter assembly comprises a foldable filter bank comprising a plurality of filter-media packs, where adjacent filter-media packs among the plurality of filter-media packs are hingedly coupled to each other using at least one coupling element, where the filter bank has one or more of a deployed state, a folded state, and an extended state. The deployed state corresponds to a pleated formation of the filter bank, in which adjacent filter-media packs are oriented at non-parallel angles.

Collapsable V-bank filter

A V-bank filter having a plurality of filter panels having a first side end opposed to a second side end, the plurality of filter panels arranged into one or more V-configurations, and a first flexible side panel joined to the first side ends and a second flexible side panel joined to the second side ends.

FILTER HOLDER, FILTER ASSEMBLY, AND AIR PURIFIER COMPRISING SAME

A filter holder comprises: a plurality of filter frames disposed such that at least some thereof are adjacent to each other; and a folding member which supports filter frames, from among the plurality of filter frames, adjacent to each other so as to be rotatable with respect to each other. The folding member comprises: a folding part which has a predetermined thickness and is flexible so as to be foldable by means of rotation of the adjacent filter frames adjacent with respect to each other; and a plurality of edge parts which are connected to the respective sides of the folding part with the folding portion therebetween and rotate together with the adjacent filter frames, and wherein when viewed from a cross-section of the folding member, the edge parts may have a greater thickness than the folding part.

Cleaning system for paint particles

A cleaning module for cleaning an air stream includes a hollow article which has an inlet port for the entry of the air stream to be cleaned and an outlet port for the exit of the cleaned air stream. A cleaning structure is provided for cleaning the air stream by particle separation and/or for filtration of the air stream. The cleaning structure has at least two separate cleaning sub-structures which through an opening element in the hollow article can be removed from the hollow article and/or can be arranged inside the hollow article.
