PCV VALVE SYSTEM AND METHOD
In a combustion engine, an exit stream of blow-by gases follows a fluid pathway through an oil and air separator and a breather filter, the oil and air separator including a first housing including a central chamber therein, the central chamber divided into a first outer portion and a second inner portion by a barrier; a filter material disposed between the first outer portion and the second inner portion; a cap directly coupled to the first housing, the cap including a first lumen therethrough, the first lumen including a first end disposed at the second inner portion; and a coupler removably coupling the cap and an extension portion including a second lumen therethrough.
Separation device and oil separating air filter assembly comprising such separation device as well as method for separating fluid from a gas stream deriving from a connecting device
A separation device for separating fluid from a gas stream has a housing with housing corpus and housing cover non-detachably connected to the housing corpus. A hollow cylindrical filter insert is received in the housing in a flow path of the gas stream from a raw gas inlet to a clean gas outlet. The filter insert has first and second end discs at first and second axial end face sides. The filter insert has a main separator element with hollow cylindrical coalescing filter medium with coalescer material for removing fluid from the gas stream that is flowing radially through the main separator element. A preliminary separator element having a coalescing filter medium with coalescer material is arranged in the flow path of the gas stream between the raw gas inlet and the filter insert for removing fluid from the gas stream.
Filter Element and a Filter Assembly
A filter assembly 7 for separating contaminants from a fluid stream is described. The filter assembly 7 comprises a filter element 58 which is locatable within chamber 19 in a flow path extending between inlet 54 and outlet 56. The filter element 58 comprises a filter media component 60, and the filter element is locatable within the chamber 19 in the flow path so that fluid flowing from the inlet 54 to the outlet 56 is directed through the filter media component. The filter assembly 7 comprises at least one first alignment assembly having a first alignment component 64a provided by the housing portion 21c and disposed within chamber 19, and a second alignment component 66a provided by the filter element 58. The first and second alignment components 64a and 66a cooperate to rotationally orient the filter element 58 within the chamber 19.
REACTOR SYSTEMS
This disclosure relates to reaction container systems providing for headspace-based condensation, coalescing devices, and other features. In some embodiments, this disclosure provides systems that reduce the relative humidity (RH) of an exhaust gas prior to or concurrent with its expulsion from the system through an exhaust filter.
Electric Powered Hydraulic Fracturing Pump System with Single Electric Powered Multi-Plunger Pump Fracturing Trailers, Filtration Units, and Slide Out Platform
A hydraulic fracturing system for fracturing a subterranean formation includes a support structure that includes an electric powered pump, arranged in a first area, the electric powered pump powered by at least one electric motor, also arranged in the first area. The system further includes a variable frequency drive (VFD), arranged in a second area proximate the first area, connected to the at least one electric motor to control the speed of the at least one electric motor. The system includes a transformer, arranged in a third area proximate the second area. The system also includes a slide out platform integrated into the first area, the slide out platform being driven between a retracted position and a deployed position.
Coalescing filter media
Filter media, filter elements, and methods for filtering an gas stream are described herein. In some embodiments, the filter media may comprise a fiber web comprising a plurality of fibers and having a particular oil repellency level. For instance, in certain embodiments, the surface chemistry of the fiber web may be tailored to impart a particular surface energy density that matches the surface energy density of the fluid (e.g., an oil, a lubricant, and/or a cooling agent) being removed from the gas stream. In some embodiments, the fiber web may be wrapped around a core. For example, the fiber web may be wrapped around the core such that it forms two or more layers around the core. In some cases, the fiber web may be perforated. In certain embodiments, an gas stream comprising a fluid (e.g., an oil, a lubricant, and/or a cooling agent) may be passed through the fiber web, filter media, and/or filter element such that at least a portion of the fluid coalesces on the fiber web. Fiber webs, filter media, and/or filter elements as described herein may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve filtering gas streams containing oil, lubricants, and/or cooling agents (e.g., gas streams generated by a compressor) though the media may also be used in other applications. Advantageously, the fiber webs, filter media, and/or filter elements described herein may significantly reduce or prevent fouling of the filter caused by oil or other liquids.
Oil management structures in crankcase ventilation
A gas-liquid separator includes a housing. The housing includes an inlet structured to receive a blowby gas stream from a crankcase. a cleaned air outlet, and a liquid outlet. A cover is disposed downstream from the inlet and upstream from the liquid outlet. The cover includes a baffle disposed over the blowby gas stream flow path from the inlet. The blowby gas stream impacts the baffle and separates liquid and aerosol contained in the blowby gas stream. A flange extends substantially axially downward from a side of the baffle. The flange is tapered substantially axially downward forming an inner surface. The inner surface is structured to route the separated liquid toward the liquid outlet. The inner surface biases separated liquid away from shedding toward the cleaned air outlet.
