WEARABLE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFICATION OF FLUID ENVIRONMENT OF AN EAR

System and method for modification of fluid environment of an ear. In one embodiment, the system includes an earpiece mountable within an ear canal. The earpiece includes a fluid delivery path for fluid to be delivered to the ear and a fluid removal path for fluid to be removed from the ear. The system also includes an electronics housing. The electronics housing may be directly mounted on the earpiece or positioned outside the ear. The system further includes an electrochemical gas generating device positioned within the electronics housing. In use, oxygen or the like is generated by the electrochemical gas generating device and is conveyed through the fluid delivery path of the earpiece, emerging from the earpiece distal end. The gas released from the earpiece causes fluid in the ear to be swept into the fluid removal path of the earpiece and eventually expelled to the outside of the ear.

CANDLING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A DISK OPERATIVELY ATTACHED TO AN EAR CANDLE FOR USE WITH AN EAR
20220047425 · 2022-02-17 ·

A candling assembly for use within an ear canal of a person undergoing an ear candling process. The candling assembly includes an ear candle and a disk. The ear candle extends along a shaft between a first end and a second end. The disk is secured to the shaft, and the disk is movable between a closed position and an open position. The disk defines a pocket that opens toward the second end, when the disk is in the open position, configured to collect debris falling from the second end toward the ear canal of the ear and the user of the candling assembly. The disk is collapsed onto itself, with a portion of the shaft of the ear candle therebetween, when the disk is in the closed position. As such, the ear candling assembly is configured to be packaged for storage in a bag when not in use.

The present invention provides a device for removing sweat from the inner ear by creating a vacuum in connecting tubing between the inner ear and a converging-diverging nozzle. When air enters the front of the converging-diverging nozzle, its velocity accelerates as it flows through the smaller cross-sectional area in the middle section, which causes a drop in pressure in the middle section and a resulting vacuum in the connecting tubing. This vacuum draws sweat from the bottom of the inner ear toward the middle of the converging-diverging nozzle, where it drips out of either end, resulting in sweat being removed from the inner ear.

This present patent application discloses a disposable earwax cleaning swab product that removes earwax and debris from the ear easily and safely. The disposable earwax cleaning swab product is comprised of a comfortable plastic handle with a generally spiral, tapered, pyramidal, tapered or conically twisted soft cleaning swab head. The twisted head is made up of foam material for easy and safe removal of earwax from the outer ear canal. Additionally, the earwax swab product has an ear guard which limits a depth of the swab product within the ear of the user. The earwax cleaning swab product eliminates the need for users to purchase costly replacement heads, allowing users to effectively remove a buildup of ear wax and other debris.

MULTIHEAD GROOMING AND CLEANING TOOL, PARTICULARLY FOR AN INFANT

A multihead grooming and cleaning tool, particularly for infants, has an elongate handle with two opposed slots. A tool body is housed in each respective slot and rotates around a tool body axis. In a first use configuration, a first tool head is deployed beyond the end of the handle while a second tool head is shrouded by the handle. In a second use configuration, the opposite is the case. Detenting structure in the slot coacts with detenting structure on the tool body to detent the tool body to the first or the second use configuration.
