Filter device, air conducting hose with filter element, tunnel, and use of the filter device
A filter device for ambient air filtration has a blower housing with air inlet and air outlet. A device for generating an air flow is arranged in the blower housing and generates an air flow in operation from air inlet to air outlet. A flexible air conducting hose is provided with a first open end connected to the air outlet of the blower housing and with a second closed end. The flexible air conducting hose has openings arranged between first open end and second closed end. Filter elements are arranged in the openings, respectively. The filter elements separate a raw side inside the air conducting hose from a clean side downstream of the filter element. The air conducting hose is inflated in operation of the device by the air flow. The flexible air conducting hose has a reduced air permeability compared to the air permeability of the filter elements.
Filter element
The present disclosure is related to filter elements and more specifically to filter elements for removing dust from air. In an embodiment, an inventive filter element includes a housing having a first side and a second side, filter material in the housing, a space between the filter material and the first side of the housing for forming a suction chamber, and at least one hole in the first side, whereby the area within the circumference of the side of the filter material facing the first side of the housing is larger than the area of at least one hole.
FILTER CARTRIDGES; AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLIES; HOUSINGS; FEATURES; COMPONENTS; AND, METHODS
According to the present disclosure, features, components and techniques useable for providing air cleaner arrangements are provided. Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.
Filter Device and Round Filter Element, in Particular for Gas Filtration
A filter device has a filter housing and a round filter element received in the interior of the filter housing. The round filter element has a filter medium body with a wall flowed through radially relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter medium body by a fluid to be purified. The round filter element has a first end disk and a second end disk arranged at opposed end faces of the filter medium body. The filter medium body has an inwardly positioned flow space inside the filter medium body that is the raw side of the round filter element. A support grid is arranged externally at the wall of the filter medium body. The filter housing has a housing cover with a flow guiding rib arranged at an inner side of the housing cover facing the interior. The flow guiding rib projects into the inwardly positioned flow space.
HAND-HELD SMOKE CONTAINMENT AND FILTER DEVICE
A tobacco smoke containment and filter device with built-in ignition for treating secondary and side stream tobacco smoke that includes a main body portion having an outer chamber and an inner chamber, a mouthpiece, and a housing unit that includes a cigarette ignition system, a fan and a filter. The main body portion includes an outer chamber connected to the housing unit. The mouthpiece has an opening therewith sized to accommodate a cigarette. The outer chamber includes a smoke exhaust member branching off from the exterior of the outer chamber. An inner chamber is positioned within the outer chamber and has a closed far end containing at least one air hole and a near end joined to the outer chamber forming an opening for the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece has a smoke control system that controls the inhalation and exhalation of smoke by the user. (printed circuit board).
Air filter, filter element and filter housing of an air filter
An air filter, including: an openable filter housing having an inlet for air to be cleaned, an outlet for cleaned air, a filter element exchangeably arranged with the filter housing. The filter element includes a filter medium radially surrounding and defining an interior space within the filter element and a support element secured to the filter element. The support element faces away from the filter medium and has a lateral support surface having a cylindrical section and/or a section with a cross section that changes in the direction of the element axis, whose main axis runs axially or parallel to the element axis and with which the support element is supported at least transversely to the element axis against a corresponding support section arranged on a side of the filter housing.
PLENUM SEPARATOR
Embodiments herein provide a plenum separator for removing excess oil from fried food items, and then separating the oil from an air/oil mixture. The separator may include a plenum defined by exterior walls, including a top wall with a slot therein, and having a width. An inner channel is typically disposed below the slot, the inner channel having a periphery defined by an exterior wall and an inner wall, the inner wall having a downwardly-extending portion and a curved portion, the curved portion having a turn of about 90 degrees defining a wall radius and terminating in an inner wall edge. A central pipe may be disposed within the plenum, generally above the inner wall edge, the central pipe having a pipe radius that is smaller than the wall radius, the pipe having an open portion extending substantially its entire length disposed at an upper quadrant thereof that faces away from the inner wall, the pipe being closed at a first end and open at a second end. An outer channel may be defined between the inner wall and another of the exterior walls, and an elongated aperture may be disposed in an upper portion of the inner wall, below and adjacent to the slot, the aperture partially interconnecting the outer and inner channels. A system for feeding fried food items with excess oil thereon may extend across and above the width of the plenum. A sink may be disposed at a bottom of the plenum. A blower typically draws air from the second end of the pipe, causing the air/oil mixture to be drawn into the slot and through the inner channel, with at least a portion of the air in the air/oil mixture passing through the opening in the pipe, with at least a portion of the oil in the air/oil mixture falling to the sink, and with at least a portion of the air/oil mixture passing from the inner channel to the outer channel and through the elongated aperture to be recirculated through the inner channel.
Filter element
A filter element has a filter body having a longitudinal axis and a concentric shape relative to the longitudinal axis. The filter body has a first end face and a second opposite end face. A first end disk is arranged at the first end face. A second end disk is arranged at the second end face. A support tube concentric to the longitudinal axis extends between the first and second end disks. At least one of the first and second end disks has support knobs arranged in a circular arrangement about the longitudinal axis and extending in axial direction outwardly. The support knobs, when the filter element is mounted in a housing that receives the filter element, rest against an inner cover contour of the housing and fold over in radial direction outwardly so as to be supported axially and radially on the housing.
Oil separator
An oil separator includes a container and a filter assembly. The filter assembly can include a casing, a valve guide, and a valve body. First and second chambers can be defined by a lower casing body. The valve guide can guide the valve body's movement between first and second positions in the first chamber or the second chamber. A first valve can be closed by a prong of the valve body in the first position such that unfiltered fluid enters an inlet of the oil separator, waste byproducts collect in a reservoir defined by the container, and filtered fluid is output from an outlet. The valve body can move from first to second positions with an accumulation of byproducts in the reservoir. In the second position unfiltered fluid may pass from the inlet to the outlet.
SILO DUST COLLECTION
Granular material flows out through the discharge opening of a silo and through a sealed housing to a target location. A vent opening in a top portion of the silo has a vent cover operative to selectively open and close the vent opening. When the vent cover is closed, air movement into an upper portion of the silo is prevented. A gate is operative to control a flow of granular material through the discharge opening. A vacuum conduit has a lower input end thereof connected to an interior of the housing, and an upper output end thereof located in an upper portion of an interior of the silo. Material flowing out of the silo creates a vacuum drawing dust from the housing up the vacuum conduit into the silo.
