A FILTER SYSTEM AND A VACUUM CLEANER INCORPORATING A FILTER SYSTEM
A filter system for a vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The system comprises a housing reconfigurable relative to a bin between an operative configuration in which the housing is disposed upon the bin so that dirt separated from dirt-laden air can collect in the bin, and an idle configuration in which the housing is removed from the bin. The housing comprises an inlet for receiving dirt-laden air into the housing, an outlet via which cleaned air can exit the housing. The system further comprises first filtering means and second filtering means disposed within the housing, the first filtering means being positioned upstream of the second filtering means. The first and second filtering means comprises a filter medium configured to separate dirt from the dirt-laden air passing from the inlet to the outlet through the filter medium. The system further comprises filter cleaning means for removing dirt from the filter medium of the first filtering means when the housing is configured at least in the operative configuration.
PARTICULATE COLLECTION DEVICE
A particulate collector includes a housing having an air intake port and an exhaust port and a flow channel, in the housing, connecting the two ports, a fan rotatable about an R-axis to generate airflow in the flow channel, a spray unit that sprays first liquid into a first portion in the flow channel, a first filter located between the first portion and the exhaust port and supported rotatably about the R-axis, a power source that rotates the first filter, a first collection port for collecting a first particulate covered with liquid contained in the first liquid from the flow channel through a second portion in the first filter, and a second collection port for collecting a second particulate covered with liquid contained in the first liquid from the flow channel through a third portion in the first filter. The second portion is located between the first and third portions.
Inside-out rotating coalescer with gas exit through hollow shaft
Various example embodiments relate to rotating coalescers. One embodiment includes a housing comprising a first housing section having a blowby gas inlet structured to receive crankcase blowby gases from a crankcase. The housing further comprises an oil outlet. The rotating coalescer includes an endcap and filter media. The filter media is arranged in a cylindrical shape and is coupled to and positioned between the first housing section and endcap. The filter media is structured to filter the crankcase blowby gases passing through the filter media by coalescing and separating oils and aerosols contained in the crankcase blowby gases. The rotating coalescer includes a hollow shaft extending through the housing and positioned radially inside of the filter media. The hollow shaft forms a blowby gas outlet structured to route filtered crankcase blowby gases out of the housing. The rotating coalescer further includes a drive mechanism operatively coupled to the hollow shaft.
WORK VEHICLE HAVING AN INTAKE CLEANING SYSTEM WITH AN ALIGNMENT MECHANISM
A cleaning apparatus of a work machine for cleaning debris from a screen mounted to a door of an engine cooling assembly. The cleaning apparatus includes a duct extending along the screen and along a first side of the door. The duct includes a duct end located at the door. A vacuum assembly is configured to draw a vacuum through the duct, wherein the vacuum assembly is detachably connected with the duct end. An alignment mechanism includes an aligner that extends from the duct to a frame of the work machine. The alignment mechanism aligns the duct end with the vacuum assembly to provide a seal between the duct and the vacuum.
Engine air precleaner system
An air management assembly for a work machine, the air management assembly having a cooling orifice defined in a panel, a cooling fan generating a cooling airflow through the cooling orifice to a cooling package, at least one fixed screen positioned along an intake orifice, and a first baffle positioned at least partially between the cooling orifice and the intake orifice. Wherein, the first baffle directs the cooling airflow partially across the fixed screen to clear the fixed screen of debris.
Fiber ingredient reproduction apparatus and fiber ingredient reproduction method
A sheet fabrication apparatus includes: a fiber separation unit that micronizes an ingredient; a first sensor unit that measures a temperature in a first space including the fiber separation unit; a first air conditioning unit that adjusts the temperature in the first space; a fabrication unit that works the fiber separated articles obtained by micronizing the ingredient by the fiber separation unit; a second sensor unit that measures at least either a temperature or a humidity at a mounting position of the fabrication unit; and a control unit that controls the first air conditioning unit on the basis of at least any of measurement results of the first sensor unit and the second sensor unit.
ANTI-ROTATION FEATURES FOR CRANKCASE VENTILATION FILTERS
A rotating crankcase ventilation filter element comprises a filter media comprising a plurality of filter media layers. A first end cap is positioned on a filter media first end. The first end cap comprises a first end cap main body, and a first plurality of indenting features positioned on the first end cap main body proximate the filter media first end. The first plurality of indenting features contact and indent corresponding segments of the filter media first end, causing the plurality of filter media layers to interlock at the corresponding segments. The interlocking prevents movement of the plurality of filter media layers relative to each other.
FILTERING DEVICE FOR USE WITH A CEILING FAN
The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to a device that is releasably or permanently mountable on at least one blade of a conventional ceiling fan to reduce the number of particulates in the air. Specifically, the device cooperates with a filter to remove a wide variety of impurities from the air, such as dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, and the like. The disclosed system comprises a device and a filter. The device includes a support that provides a base for the attachment of the filter. The device further includes an adaptor that cooperates with a series of joints to allow the size and shape of the support to be customized for a particular ceiling fan blade. Advantageously, the device can be coupled to a wide variety of ceiling fan blades to enable an associated filter to clean the air as the fan blades rotate, thereby reducing the number of particulates in the air.
