Filter life prediction method and filter type detection method

A method to predict the lifespan of an air filter including providing pressure sensors in a device having an air filter and a fan to drive air through the air filter, one pressure sensor located on an intake side of the fan and one pressure sensor located on an outflow side of the fan, periodically calculating a static pressure drop across the fan, storing the static pressure drop daily; calculating an average pressure drop, calculating a cumulative particle loading on the filter, comparing the cumulative particle loading with a pre-determined maximum particle loading for the filter, and determining if the filter needs to be changed is provided.

Fan filter unit and HEPA filter performance measurement method

Provided is a fan filter unit with which the performance of a HEPA filter can be measured at multiple points with ease and in a short time. The fan filter unit has a first HEPA filter, a second HEPA filter, and exhaust means installed between the first HEPA filter and the second HEPA filter. The first HEPA filter, the second HEPA filter, and the exhaust means are integrated by a housing.

STATUS DETECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FILTER

Embodiments of the present application provide a status detection method and apparatus for a filter. The filter filters a fluid in a sealed channel. At least a pressure sensor is further provided downstream of the filter in the sealed channel. The method includes: if a fluid flowing through a filter in a sealed channel is controlled to have a first flow rate, then acquiring a first pressure value measured by a pressure sensor; if the fluid flowing through the filter in the sealed channel is controlled to have a second flow rate, then acquiring a second pressure value measured by the pressure sensor; and determining a status of the filter according to a difference between the first pressure value and the second pressure value. Therefore, detection of the status of the filter is achieved, and an operator is prompted to maintain/replace the filter in time. In addition, an existing component can be used, so that applicability is high and detection costs are low.

Mobile sterilization apparatus and method for using the same

A sterilization cabinet, comprising a top panel, at least two side panels, and a floor panel forming a part of a chamber of the sterilization cabinet; at least one door connected to at least one of the at least two side panels of the sterilization cabinet; a vent formed in at least one of the two side panels; at least one first filter covering the vent and a filter cover configured to hold the first filter against the vent; a drain positioned in the floor panel, wherein the floor panel has a slope configured to cause condensate within the chamber to flow into the drain and wherein the drain is the only outlet for the condensate along the floor panel; and a second filter covering the drain such that condensate flowing into the drain passes through the second filter.
