Clamp system and filter arrangement and methods
A filter system and clamp system for a gas turbine air inlet uses a single clamp system that allows for securing in place both a first element and a second element on the grid of the gas turbine air inlet. The clamp system can be released to allow for services of the first filter element, while the second filter element remains in sealing engagement with the grid.
Filter assembly, filter bag and method of replacing a filter bag
The disclosure relates to a filter assembly (16) comprising a frame (6) comprising a frame part (6.1) having a top side (7a), a bottom side (7d), inner edges (7c) defining an aperture (26) and outer edges (7b) forming an outer perimeter of the frame part (6.1), and a bag-like insert (11) comprising filter material and having an open upper portion (14) and at least one closed bottom portion. The insert (11) is fitted into the aperture (26) of the frame (6) with the open upper portion (14) bent over the frame part (6.1) to cover the top side (7a), the outer edges (7b) and at least part of the bottom side (7d) of the frame part (6.1). The upper portion (14) of the insert (11), which is bent over the frame (6), comprises a stretch region (27) made of stretchable material. The insert (11) is fastened to the frame (6) by a pressing force generated by the stretch region (27) against the frame (6).
Air filter medium and air filter product
A method of producing an air filter includes a first step of preparing a tow band and a second step of obtaining a filter medium layer that includes first fibers obtained by applying tension to the tow band to spread the tow band and the first fibers having an average fiber diameter of 5 m or more and 50 m or less and second fibers disposed in gaps between the first fibers and having an average fiber diameter of 30 nm or more and 1 m or less. The second fibers are drawn out from the particulate resin by drawing the particulate resin, and the particulate resin is drawn by separating the first fibers from each other so that a gap is formed between the first fibers during the spreading of the tow band.
AIR FILTER WITH INTEGRATED SENSORICS
The present disclosure relates to a filter module for filtering air of at least a part of a building or air from an exhaust air purification unit of a production process, wherein the filter module has a filter body, which filters the air flowing through from air accompanying substances, and at least one sensor with sensor electronics. The sensor is configured for measuring a value of an analysis parameter for the analysis of at least one of the air accompanying substances and of the air quality of the air. The filter body and the sensor are configured and arranged with respect to one another in the case of an air flow through the filter module, the value of the analysis parameter which is measured with the sensor corresponds to more than 90% of the value of the analysis parameter which is averaged over the entire air flow.
FILTERS AND FILTER ASSEMBLIES WITH CANTED OPENINGS, COLLECTORS AND METHODS OF USE
Filters having canted openings, filter assemblies including the filters, filter supports, collectors, collectors with reduced profile clean air chambers, and methods of using the same are described herein.
REUSABLE MULTI-POCKET AIR FILTER
An apparatus and methods are provided for a reusable multi-pocket air filter to remove contaminants from air within interior building environments. The reusable multi-pocket air filter comprises a multiplicity of reusable filter bags for filtering an airstream. A frame supports the filter bags within an HVAC system. The filter bags are arranged parallel to one another and extend downstream of the frame when the airstream flows into the filter bags. Elongated openings in the frame allow the airstream to flow through the frame into the filter bags. The elongated openings include filter bag retainers for individually coupling the filter bags with the frame. The filter bags can be removed from the frame for servicing without removing the frame from the HVAC system. The filter bags can be cleaned by removing them from the multi-pocket air filter, flushing contaminants from the filter bags, and allowing the filter bags to dry.
