There is provided a fan assembly comprising a fan body comprising a first air inlet and a second air inlet, the first air inlet and the second air inlet being provided on opposing halves of the fan body. The fan assembly also comprises a first filter assembly mounted on the fan body over the first air inlet, and a second filter assembly mounted on the fan body over the second air inlet. The fan body further comprises a first retention assembly that is configured to releasably engage both the first filter frame and the second filter frame, and a second retention assembly that is also configured to releasably engage both the first filter frame and the second filter frame.

Two removable doors are provided, each having an outer panel configured to overlap a respective mounting opening to close the mounting opening and two inner appendages, which project perpendicularly from two opposite ends of the outer panel so as to be arranged on the two opposite sides of the air filter, when the door is coupled to the respective mounting opening.

One aspect of the technology relates to a recirculation filter. The recirculation filter has a first outer layer defining at least a portion of a first flow face of the recirculation filter, where the first flow face is configured to be positioned adjacent to a sensitive component in an electronics enclosure. A second outer layer defines at least a portion of a second flow face of the recirculation filter. A filter material layer is disposed between the first outer layer and the second outer layer. The filter material layer has a central region, wherein a substantial portion of the central region is offset from the first flow face of the recirculation filter. Other aspects are also described.

The filter device includes a supply air introducing part, a filter main body part and a discharge part. The supply air introducing part takes in an outside air. The filter main body part includes a ventilation pipe connected to the supply air introducing part to allow the outside air to flow through the ventilation pipe and a filter housing part being equipped with an outflow hole allowing the outside air to flow outside at a position higher than a position of the opening part of the ventilation pipe to separate, from the outside air, a liquid in a liquid state or a state close thereto. The liquid is taken in together with the outside air. The discharge part discharges at least the separated liquid from the filter main body part.

A directing member is located in the passage, the directing member having, in the rotational direction, a directing surface facing towards the flow of air in the passage, the directing surface extending from an upstream end located in the passage and a downstream end located proximate the second stage cyclone air inlet port wherein the directing surface extends generally linearly.

The fixing member is engageable with the vacuum cleaner when in the fixing position to fix the filter assembly to the vacuum cleaner. The fixing member is disengageable from the vacuum cleaner when in the release position such that the filter assembly may be removed from the vacuum cleaner. The tab is movable between the first and second positions to move the fixing member between the fixing and release positions. The tab is disposed within the recess such that the tab is located below the surface of the housing in the first position.
