DUST COLLECTOR, VACUUM CLEANER, AND SELF-PROPELLED VACUUM CLEANER
A dust collector including a body with an intake portion and an exhaust portion includes a filter, a filter support that supports the filter, a motor case protruding from an inner surface of the body, and a vibration motor accommodated in the motor case. The body accommodates the filter support. A portion on the tip side of the motor case is at a position where it is allowed to come into contact with the filter support when the vibration motor is driven.
FILTER FOR A VENT OPENING OF A CONTAINER
A filter for a vent opening of a container comprises a filter element and a flange which surrounds the filter element. The filter element and the flange are integrated by means of an injection molding process, in which material is injected against a solid filter element in a mold, from which material the flange arises after curing. The filter element has an edge portion which extends in its circumferential direction. The edge portion has a front side, a back side and a side edge extending between the front side and the back side. The back side is covered the flange and the side edge in circumferential direction of the edge portion is alternatingly entirely and partly covered from the back side by the material of the flange. At the locations where the side edge is entirely covered the front side is also covered by the material of the flange.
CHEMICAL PROTECTIVE SHELTER SYSTEM
A chemical protective shelter system for encapsulating an uncontaminated person or persons is presented. The chemical protective shelter system has a cover assembly extending a length between a top end and a bottom end and having interior surface and an exterior surface and an opening which can be opened and closed repeatedly while still sealing. The chemical protective shelter system includes a layer of a chemical adsorbent material capable of filtering chemical agents while allowing oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through the material. The chemical protective shelter is specially adapted to house a plurality of people and facilitate a tent like function. The system also includes a port for auxiliary filtered air. The system may also include a powered air purifying respirator which positively pressures the interior space of the system.
Modular dust collection system
A support frame for dust collection system including a drum filter and a filter cleaning system is disclosed where the frame includes a plurality of octagonal supports spaced apart from each other in an axial direction defining an octagon-shaped peripheral profile. A plurality of axial members extend between adjacent octagonal supports, and end covers are secured to the frame members with each cover including a first inlet opening and a second inlet opening. The support frame may be used in a modular dust collection with a plurality of modular segments of filter media segments secured to the frame and a filter cleaner segments corresponding to the filter media segments.
Filter cartridge comprising filter media with adhesively edge-sealed ends, and method of making and using
A filter cartridge having a filter media with two opposing ends each being occluded by an adhesive edge seal.
Filter element with flat shape adapted to be locked in curved shape
A filter element is provided for being removably arranged in a filter housing, the filter element including a filter material body. The filter element is adapted to assume a first state, in which it has a substantially flat shape, and a second state, in which it has such a curved shape, such that opposite outer peripheral sides of the filter element are directed towards each other and in which it is adapted for a filtering operation. The filter element is adapted to be locked in the second state when arranged in the filter housing. A filter system is also provided including a filter element and an anchoring device adapted to be arranged between the opposite outer peripheral sides of the filter element when it is curved to the second state.
IN-LINE VACUUM FILTER
An in-line vacuum filter comprises a manifold having an inlet, an outlet, a collecting container, and an actuatable filter paddle. A flow of air generated by a source of negative pressure travels from the inlet to the outlet. The actuatable filter paddle is positioned within the manifold such that it can be actuated between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the actuatable filter paddle is placed within the flow of air and in the second position, the actuatable filter paddle is removed from the flow of air. The filter paddle is preferably arcuate concave and comprises a plurality of apertures. In the first position, the filter paddle gradually diverts objects larger than a width of the apertures away from the flow of air. Diverted objects may travel to a removable collection container.
Filter element, in particular for gas filtration
A filter element has a filter medium body with a first side and an oppositely positioned second side. A first sealing or supporting element is arranged at the first side. A second sealing or supporting element is arranged at the second side. The first side is positioned in a plane. The second side has a first section and a second section, wherein the first section has a first spacing relative to the first side and the second section has a second spacing relative to the first side, wherein the first and second spacings are different. One of the first and second sides is the inflow side of the filter medium body and the other one of the first and second sides is the outflow side of the filter medium body.
