A filter (1) for filtering air, in particular an air filtering element (30), is provided for releasably fitting into a housing (10) which has a housing upper part (11) and in particular a central tube (20) fastened to the housing upper part (11), and also the housing for the filtering element (30) is provided. The filtering element has a seal (33, 34) for holding the filtering element (1) on the housing upper part (11) and the central tube (20) and for sealing the space (111) between the filtering element (30) and housing upper part (11) when the filtering element (30) is releasably fitted in the housing (10). The seal (33, 34) is connectable in a form-fitting manner to a sealing receptacle (111) of the housing upper part (11) and/or of the central tube (20).
Clean-side oil and air separator system and method
A clean-side oil and air separator includes (i) a first housing including a filter material; (ii) a second housing including a threaded portion adapted to be a direct replacement for an engine oil fill cap removably closing an oil engine fill port; and (iii) a coupler disposed between and removably coupling the first housing and the second housing; wherein the first housing, second housing, and coupler include a continuous fluid pathway therethrough that extends between (a) an air intake from a PCV valve and (b) the engine oil fill port; and wherein the filter material is disposed in said fluid pathway within said first housing.

The present disclosure relates to a vacuum cleaner for separating and collecting dust and other contaminants by using a multi-cyclone and a mesh filter, including a cleaning unit for sweeping dust and foreign materials attached to the mesh filter along an outer circumferential surface of the mesh filter, and a rotation unit coupled to the cleaning unit for rotating the cleaning unit relative to the mesh filter, whereby the cleaning unit can clean a surface of the filter automatically or manually during an operation of the cleaner, so that the filter surface can be kept clean, and a load on a fan unit caused due to foreign materials or dust can be reduced.

A filter assembly for a fresh air filtration system, the fresh air filtration system made therewith, and a method of filtering fresh air are provided. The filter assembly includes a filter housing and at least one filter element supported within the housing, the housing having at least one inlet for receiving a fluid to be filtered and at least one outlet for discharging filtered fluid, wherein the at least one inlet and at least one outlet are on a common side of the housing.

TANGENTIAL AIR CLEANER WITH COILED FILTER CARTRIDGE
Filtration systems having a tangential air cleaner having a coiled media filter element and a cyclonic pre-cleaner are described. An outer wall of the filter element acts as a pre-cleaner sleeve of the housing to generate a cyclonic flow of the intake air prior to the intake air being filtered by the filter element. The housing cover includes geometry that redirects the cyclonic flow from a tangential path to an axial, straight-through flow directed through an inlet flow face of the filter element. Various embodiments of such filtration systems offer increased filter performance and capacity compared to similarly sized cylindrical pleated filter elements having a radial flow filtering path.

The flangeless gas feed ring element makes rapid tensioning possible and secondly improves the fluidizing behavior and therefore the flow behavior.
