DUAL BELLOW FILTER ELEMENT WITH COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
A filter assembly for a motor-vehicle air cleaner includes a primary filter, a secondary filter set apart from the primary filter, and a filter frame configured to support the primary filter and the secondary filter. The filter mount is fittable in and removable from a housing of the air cleaner, and includes a divider passing between the main filter and the auxiliary filter, the divider including at least two channels separated by a rib.
Fluoropolymer article for bacterial filtration
A filtration article including a composite filtration structure, a seal region positioned within the composite filtration structure, and an attachment weld that interconnects the seal region and an outer casing is provided. The composite filtration structure includes a stacked filter material including at least two fluoropolymer membranes and a support layer. The support layer may be formed of a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer. When heated, the polymer in the support layer melts and flows into the fluoropolymer membranes. In exemplary embodiments, the polymer is imbibed through the thickness of the fluoropolymer membranes. The attachment weld may be positioned at any location within the seal region so long as the attachment weld is positioned a distance from the outer periphery of the composite filtration structure. The filtration article is small in size, is lightweight, and may be used as a sterilizing grade filter. Methods of producing the filtration article also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE MITIGATION OF RISK OF EXPOSURE TO CONTAMINANTS AND PROVIDING INFORMATION THEREOF
Disclosed is a method and system for the mitigation of risk of exposure to contaminants and providing information thereof. The method and system thereby follow the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Hierarchy of Controls to implement a method and system to optimize safety guidelines and increase mitigation effectiveness. The method includes providing or using an existing air moving unit, mounting sensors for the continuous measurement of contaminants, flushing the enclosed area prior to and after occupancy for a specific time, filtering, diluting the enclosed area during occupancy, pressurizing for contamination control, maintaining humidity between 40% and 60%, providing ultraviolet germicidal irradiation to destroy and deactivate nuclear material in contaminants, cleaning, adjusting operational parameters between energy conservation mode and pandemic mode, and providing a display having information thereof about the enclosed area including the attributes and characteristics continuously monitored by sensors.
Air cleaner
An air cleaner is provided. The air cleaner may include a circular filter assembly, in which a plurality of filters may be stacked, a circular rear or first case including a mount sleeve, on which the filter assembly may be mounted, a circular middle or second case, on which a discharge grille may be disposed, the second case being coupled to a front or first surface of the first case, a circular front or third case coupled to a front or first surface of the second case, and a circular panel attached to a surface of the third case. The filter assembly may include a first filter, a second filter disposed at a side of the first filter to accommodate the first filter, and a third filter disposed at a side of the second filter to accommodate the second filter. Edges of surfaces of the first to third filters may be flush with each other.

Filter Element, in Particular for Gas Filtration
A filter element has a filter element housing with first and second outwardly open receiving pockets. A first filter medium body is disposed in the first receiving pocket. A second filter medium body is disposed in the second receiving pocket. The first and second filter medium bodies delimit a common clean chamber that communicates with an outflow opening for purified fluid. The first receiving pocket has a circumferential first support rim on which the first medium body is supported. The second receiving pocket has a circumferential second support rim on which the second filter medium body is supported. The first receiving pocket has a first receiving wall partially enclosing the first filter medium body and extending outwardly away from the first support rim. The second receiving pocket has a second receiving wall partially enclosing the second filter medium body and extending outwardly away from the second support rim.

AIR PURIFICATION PLANT
An air purification plant, having a partition wall for the spatial separation of a dirty-air space, which is disposed upstream, from a clean-air space, which is disposed downstream, which partition wall has a support frame and a plurality of filter boxes which project from the support frame in the direction of the dirty-air space, and the filter boxes have at least one filter wall which extends from the support frame into the dirty-air space. The filter boxes are in each case open only in the clean-air space which is disposed downstream, wherein filter walls, which face one another, of adjacent filter boxes in each case form a filter pocket which is open on the upstream side and at the bottom, and for switching from one filter pocket into an adjacent filter pocket a suction nozzle is moved through below the filter box which separates the two filter pockets.
