INDUSTRIAL COATING APPLICATION FILTER WITH PLEATED SUPPORT
A filter for industrial coating filtration systems. The filter has a housing made up of a peripheral wall extending around the periphery. The housing is preferably made of a suitably rigid material. A preferably rigid support backing is mounted within the housing. The support backing has a planar configuration with openings formed through it so that gas can flow through without substantial resistance. The preferably planar sheet of which the support backing is made is pleated. The pleated support backing defines a series of panels, each of which is angled to a next adjacent panel. Filtration media is mounted to the support backing, end caps are attached to the ends of the support backing to maintain the pleated configuration, and the assembly is inserted into the housing, which can have end flaps to seal using tape or adhesive.
Direct replacement air filter with automatic pleated filter media advance
The invention is directed to replacement media advancing air filter in air handling units with a flow channel. The filter having a housing and an exposure slot with filter media storage area that has an unexposed pleated, folded filter media portion stored therein. The filter media portion being folded and stacked in and compactly held at least in part within the storage area. A motor is coupled to a power supply and in communication with a controller. The motor moves a movement member that moves a portion of the filter media from a stored state in the storage area into the exposure slot and is exposed to the air in the air flow channel creating an exposed portion of the filter media. The exposed portion is collected within a containment area as a further portion of media is moved into the exposure slot to replace the exposed portion therein.

FILTERS, MOUNTS AND METHODS OF MOUNTING FILTERS
A grease filter for installation within an aperture of an exhaust hood overlying kitchen equipment where heat or flame may occur, the grease filter comprising an external frame assembly, a UL 1046 listed grease filter, and a removable perforated insert. The external frame assembly defines a pathway for airflow therethrough and partially defines a first chamber of the grease filter and a second chamber of the grease filter. The UL 1046 listed grease filter being disposed within the first chamber of the grease filter and being secured within the external frame assembly. The removable perforated insert being disposed within the second chamber of the grease filter and wherein the external frame assembly is configured to allow the removable perforated insert to be removably installed within the second chamber in a spaced relation from the UL 1046 listed grease filter.
Cyclonic air filter assembly for an engine
An air filter assembly includes a housing having an interior surface that defines an interior volume, a filter element positioned within the interior volume and having a filter media, an air intake formed in the housing, a debris outlet formed in the housing, a filtered air outlet formed in the housing, and a plurality of ribs. The filter element is spaced from the interior surface so that a gap is formed between the filter element and the interior surface to allow air to flow between the filter element and the interior surface. The plurality of ribs extend into the interior volume of the housing so that air flowing from the air intake is directed into the gap and around the filter element to complete a cyclonic filtering pass before flowing along a second airflow pass through the filter element. The outlet passage is configured to direct filtered air into a third airflow pass in a direction opposite to the second airflow pass.
Filters, mounts and methods of mounting filters
A bracket to mount a filter in an exhaust hood includes clip portion, a restraint portion, and a support portion. The clip portion includes a first wall and a second wall that are substantially parallel to each other with a space formed therebetween. The support portion is disposed between the clip portion and the restraint portion, and the support portion includes a hole formed therein. The filter includes an external support frame embedded with a filter pad, the external support frame being configured to provide support to the filter pad to maintain the filter pad in a generally flat configuration. The filter pad includes fibers selected from the group consisting of: wool fibers, wood-based viscose fibers, and cellulose-based synthetic fibers, the fibers configured to absorb grease particulates.

Removable flue gas strainer and associated methods
Apparatuses, systems, and methods operable to reduce catalyst fouling by removing solid particulates from a heated fluid stream upstream of a catalyst using one or more flue gas strainer apparatuses that may be cleaned or serviced without ceasing or disrupting heating or catalytic operations. The flue gas strainer apparatuses may include a housing having a front end and a back end, the housing comprising a receiving portion, an outer edge, an inner edge, and an inner bore extending from the front end to the back end of the housing along the inner edge. The inner bore is operable to allow a heated fluid stream to pass therethrough. The flue gas strainer apparatus may also include a moveable strainer portion comprising one or more removable mesh portions. Each of the one or more removable mesh portions may have a plurality of pores and configured to capture solid particulates suspended in the heated fluid stream. The one or more removable mesh portions may be operable to be removingly received in the receiving portion of the housing.
