Tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube
Systems, apparatus, and methods described herein relate to a tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube. The tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube can include a tubular body defining a lumen and having a proximal end and a distal end, where the tubular body is configured to be deployed in a tympanic membrane; and a fluid transport element disposed within the lumen and extending at least a length of the tubular body. The tubular body can be configured to transition from a first state in which the tubular body can be disposed within an introducer and a second state in which the tubular body can be retained in an incision formed the tympanic membrane after deployment, and the fluid transport element can enable transport of a fluid across the tympanic membrane.
Devices, systems and methods for diagnosing and treating sinusitis and other disorders of the ears, nose and/or throat
Sinusitis, enlarged nasal turbinates, tumors, infections, hearing disorders, allergic conditions, facial fractures and other disorders of the ear, nose and throat are diagnosed and/or treated using minimally invasive approaches and, in many cases, flexible catheters as opposed to instruments having rigid shafts. Various diagnostic procedures and devices are used to perform imaging studies, mucus flow studies, air/gas flow studies, anatomic dimension studies, endoscopic studies and transillumination studies. Access and occluder devices may be used to establish fluid tight seals in the anterior or posterior nasal cavities/nasopharynx and to facilitate insertion of working devices (e.g., scopes, guidewires, catheters, tissue cutting or remodeling devices, electrosurgical devices, energy emitting devices, devices for injecting diagnostic or therapeutic agents, devices for implanting devices such as stents, substance eluting devices, substance delivery implants, etc.

MICRONEEDLE FOR LOCAL DELIVERY OF THERAPEUTIC AGENT
The disclosed subject matter relates to a cleavable microneedle for delivery of therapeutic agent, wherein the needle includes a longitudinal body having a detachable portion that comprises at least one therapeutic agent. The microneedle may be configured to administer the therapeutic agent to the inner ear of a subject. Also disclosed is a method for preparing a microneedle using two-photon polymerization lithography.
Ear canal grafts
The devices described herein are used for holding an undelay graft and an overlay graft in place for repair a tympanic membrane. The devices include a post having a proximal end and a distal end; and first and second arms, each having a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end of the post is flexibly joined to the proximal end of the first arm and to the proximal end of the second arm. When the device is in a deployed configuration, the first arm and the second arm extend substantially perpendicularly from the post; and when the first arm and the second arm are clamped into a constrained configuration, the first arm and the second arm extend substantially parallel to a central axis of the post.
PATULOUS EUSTACHIAN TUBE STENT
A system effectively narrows a patulous Eustachian tube (ET) of a patient with a guide catheter, instrument, and insert. The guide catheter includes a shaft, a lumen and a distal end configured to provide access the ET when the guide catheter is inserted into a head of the patient. The instrument comprises a shaft. The insert comprises a body configured to radially expand and retract between a non-expanded state and an expanded state. The insert is sized and shaped to be received within the first lumen when in the non-expanded state and is operable to expand to the expanded state to substantially reduce an effective diameter of the ET.

A malleable implantable medical device for implanting in a recipient comprising a flexible region of the medical device, one or more structures proximate to the flexible region, wherein the one or more structures is configured to provide a bending force to the flexible region, and one or more hermetically sealed medical components coupled to the flexible region, wherein the one or more medical components is configured to provide a therapeutic effect on the recipient.
Patulous Eustachian tube stent
A system effectively narrows a patulous Eustachian tube (ET) of a patient with a guide catheter, instrument, and insert. Dilation catheter with navigation sensor and vent passageway in tip
A dilation catheter includes a catheter shaft, an expandable element, and a navigation sensor. The catheter shaft has a proximal shaft portion defining a proximal shaft end, a distal shaft portion defining a distal shaft end, and a working lumen extending between the proximal and distal shaft ends. The expandable element is disposed on the distal shaft portion proximally of the distal shaft end, and is configured to expand to dilate an anatomical passageway of a patient. The navigation sensor is arranged at the distal shaft portion, and is configured to generate a signal corresponding to a location of the distal shaft portion within the patient. In various examples, the dilation catheter may further include a bulbous distal tip, and the navigation sensor may be arranged within the bulbous distal tip.
CHOANAL ATRESIA APPARATUS
A choanal atresia apparatus for use in prevention of stenosis following choanal atresia repair in patients. Two tubular choanal tubes each have an interior surface and an exterior surface, an anterior end and a posterior end, and a central axis. A plurality of axially spaced apertures in each of the two choanal tubes are for discharging nasal secretion. A strip has opposed ends coupled to the posterior ends of the two choanal tubes respectively. The strip couples the two choanal tubes in a laterally spaced relationship. The choanal tubes and the strip are fabricated of a medical grade plastic.
