An air filtration ceiling fan apparatus includes a ceiling fan unit and an air filtration unit. The ceiling fan unit includes a motor and a plurality of fan blades operably coupled to the motor. The air filtration unit includes a filter element and a filter fan configured to move air through the filter element. The ceiling fan unit is operably connected to the air filtration unit to form the air filtration ceiling fan, and the air filtration ceiling fan is configured to attach to a ceiling.

An air cleaner includes a case, an air inlet, an air outlet, a grill covering the air inlet to filter airborne oil droplets, a fan to suction air through the air inlet and discharge air out of the air outlet, a roll filter provided between the grill and the fan to filter oil mist, and a filter roller to cut the roll filter. The roll filter includes a roller and a filter sheet wound around the roller, and the filter sheet may be unwound to extend behind the grill. When the filter sheet becomes dirty, the roll filter is further unwound so that a clean section is provided behind the grill, and the filter cutter may cut off the dirty section. During cutting, a clamp holds down the filter sheet. The case includes a slit through which the dirty section of the filter sheet passes for discarding.

A device that comprises an outer component, an inner component and a filter module. The outer component includes a first hollow cylinder, and exterior ports in sidewalls of the first hollow cylinder. The inner component is positioned coaxially within the first hollow cylinder, and includes a second cylinder, and interior ports in the second cylinder, wherein the interior fluid ports are aligned parallel to the exterior ports. The filter module includes a hollow prism positioned coaxially within the outer component and surrounding the inner component, the hollow prism comprising at least four faces configured to retain filters. A first filter is provided on a first face, of the at least four faces, which is aligned between a pair of the interior and exterior ports.

A system for cleaning a filter mounted over an intake opening of an air handling unit. A conduit is secured to an elevated location of the unit and includes a plurality of spaced nozzles arrayed against the filter. A supply tube connects to the conduit for supplying a pressurized fluid through the nozzles in order to clear debris from an exterior of the mounted filter. The pressurized fluid includes either of water or compressed air provided from any of a source or a supply reservoir. A pump is incorporated into the supply tube for pressurizing the fluid. A filter incorporated into the supply tube filters the pressurized fluid prior to delivery to spray issuing conduit.

A food recycler can include a case having a case volume between 8.79 liters and 35 liters, a control system, a user interface in electrical communication with the control system, and a bucket being configured with a bucket volume, wherein a ratio of the bucket volume to the case volume is between 0.0717 and 0.2857. An air filtration apparatus includes an airflow powerhead assembly including a fan assembly and a vane assembly, a filter assembly, and a separator chamber housing inside of which the filter assembly is disposed. The separator chamber housing has a chamber inlet at a first axial side and a clean air outlet at a second axial side of the separator chamber housing opposite the first axial side. The filter assembly has a first axial end adjacent the chamber inlet and a second axial end adjacent the clean air outlet. The separator chamber housing includes at least one debris ejection slot extension configured to eject debris from an inner space of the separator chamber housing. The filter assembly includes a debris catch tray disposed at the second axial end, the debris catch tray having a debris ejection slot aligned with the at least one debris ejection slot extension.

In an example, a particulate filter includes a porous filter substrate including a first surface and a second surface. The porous filter substrate is configured to filter gas flowing through the porous filter substrate between the first surface and the second surface. A plurality of conductors are coupled to the porous filter substrate. The plurality of conductors are approximately parallel to each other along the porous filter substrate. The particulate filter also includes a plurality of input nodes in signal communication with the plurality of conductors and configured to receive a voltage signal from an input signal source. The plurality of conductors are configured to generate an electric field on at least one of the first surface or the second surface of the porous filter substrate in response to the plurality of input nodes receiving the voltage signal from the input signal source.

Disclosed herein is a luminaire apparatus having an air cleaner attached thereto, which is connected by wires and cables so as to be vertically movable. More particularly, the luminaire apparatus enables a luminaire and air cleaner, which are considerably heavy, installed on a ceiling to be safely moved vertically using wires in order to perform replacement of light bulbs, replacement of air cleaner filters, troubleshooting, or maintenance, and is usable through supply of power to the luminaire and the air cleaner at a desired height by installing the air cleaner capable of vertically moving together with the luminaire and by installing power cables capable of supplying power even when the luminaire and the air cleaner are moved up and down.

Greater filtration or separation efficiency is provided due to increased number and alignment of rectangular shaped filter elements in the vessel.
