Filter element
A filter element includes a first bellows which is produced from a first filter medium, in view of the object of providing a filter element which after some service life can be readily modified in such a manner that said filter element again achieves an adequate filtration effect, is characterized in that a second bellows which is produced from a second filter medium is provided, wherein the second bellows is inserted into a recess of the first bellows and the periphery of the second bellows is partly or completely surrounded by the first bellows or wherein the second bellows is placed onto the first bellows in such a manner that the recess is covered by the second bellows and the fold tips of the bellows are aligned with one another.
Dust collecting filter
A filter frame includes a first frame portion that includes a filter installation surface for installing a filter, a second frame portion that retains the filter by holding the filter between the first frame portion, and a hinge portion that connects the first frame portion and the second frame portion. The first frame portion has a plurality of fitting projections and an arm provided on a filter installation surface of the first frame portion so as to extend between a plurality of fitting projections. The second frame portion has a plurality of fitting portions for receiving the plurality of fitting projections, and a cutout provided in a side of the frame facing the side in which the second frame portion is connected to the first frame portion by the hinge portion.
DUAL BELLOW FILTER ELEMENT WITH COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
A filter assembly for a motor-vehicle air cleaner includes a primary filter, a secondary filter set apart from the primary filter, and a filter frame configured to support the primary filter and the secondary filter. The filter mount is fittable in and removable from a housing of the air cleaner, and includes a divider passing between the main filter and the auxiliary filter, the divider including at least two channels separated by a rib.
FILTER MEDIUM AND BREATHER FILTER STRUCTURE
Thermoplastic bicomponent binder fiber can be combined with other media, fibers and other filtration components to form a thermally bonded filtration media. The filtration media can be used in filter units, such as breather caps. Such filter units can be placed in the stream of a mobile fluid and can remove a particulate and/or fluid mist load from the mobile stream. The unique combination of media fiber, bicomponent binder fiber and other filtration additives and components provide a filtration media having unique properties in filtration applications.
Filter Element of a Filter for Filtering Fluids, and Filter
A filter element has a zigzag-folded filter medium. Filter medium sections joined by a fold edge define an intermediate fold space, respectively, with a fold base and fold peaks opposite the fold base. An elongate support section is arranged in the intermediate fold space on a filter medium surface of one of the filter medium sections. The support section extends perpendicular to the fold edges between fold base and fold peak. The support section has a height extension perpendicular to the filter medium surface that increases in longitudinal direction of the support section from fold base to fold peak. The support section has a free side facing away from the filter medium surface. The support section has a width extension parallel to the fold edges. The width extension decreases parallel to the filter medium surface and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction from fold peak to fold base.
PORTABLE AIR FILTRATION AND AIR DISPERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
An air filtration device including a housing that includes an air intake and a blower motor mounted within the housing, wherein when the blower motor is in operation, the blower motor generates an air flow from the air intake through an air duct extending vertically from the housing. The air filtration device also includes an air outlet at a distal end of the air duct, wherein the air outlet comprises at least one aperture, wherein when the blower motor is in operation, the air outlet discharges the air flow in a horizontal plane over an occupied zone from a region of the air duct having a vertical height that is less than or equal to twelve inches, wherein the region of the air duct for the air outlet is disposed at least thirty-six inches above the air intake. The air filtration device also includes an air filter.
FILTER AND METHOD OF OPERATING
A filter, a method of operating and a method of making is provided. The filter includes multiple filter layers in plurality with the structural integrity of the filter as a whole. The layers are perforated to allow any type of filtering such as but not limited to osmosis filtering, reverse osmosis filtering, static filtering, and sifting or sieve-like filtering effect as the media being filtered passes through the layers as the outermost layer collects most debris. The layers further have an adhesive relationship with each other layer and an optional base layer, so that each layer may be individually removed and the one beneath is exposed as a cleaner filter surface.
Filter Element, Element Frame of a Filter Element, Filter Bellows of a Filter Element, Filter Housing, and Filter
A fluid filter has a filter housing with inlet opening for fluid to be cleaned and outlet opening for cleaned fluid. A filter element arranged in an element receptacle of the filter housing separates inlet opening from outlet opening. The filter housing has a housing body with an installation opening to the element receptacle, through which the filter element in an installation direction is introduced into the element receptacle. The filter housing has a housing cover for closing the installation opening. The installation opening is arranged in a transverse side of the housing body that is lateral relative to the housing axis. The filter housing has a sealing surface, surrounding the housing axis at least partially circumferentially, for contacting a seal of the filter element. The filter element has a seal support device for the seal and the filter housing has a pressing device for the seal support device.
Fluid Filter for a Motor Vehicle and Filter Cartridge for such a Fluid Filter
A fluid filter for a motor vehicle includes a filter housing and a filter cartridge which is fixable on the filter housing by rotating around a longitudinal axis of the filter cartridge. A holding element having a web is disposed on an end plate of the filter cartridge where the web protrudes from a wall of the holding element and where the wall is formed as a spiral shape. The web of the holding element is engageable behind a holding web of a counter bearing disposed on the filter housing that is spiral shaped. The holding web has an incline in a rotational direction in comparison to an abutment region of the filter housing on which a sealing element of the filter cartridge abuts.
Pleated filter element comprising pleated filter media with edge dams, and method of making and using
