FILTERING APPARATUS WITH AT LEAST ONE FILTER UNIT
A filtering apparatus having a housing with lateral, upstream and downstream walls, and a top plate disposed at a significant angle to incoming overspray air to accelerate and guide the particulate-laden air. The angle of the top plate directs the air upstream and away from the filters so the larger solids impact the top plate and wall and adhere, removing paint from the air. Larger solids too massive to turn while accelerating through an opening into an entry chamber collect on the upstream sidewall and the highly filtered air flows toward filter units disposed downstream of the entry opening. Lighter solids that flow downstream are removed by the filtration media. An overhang of the angled top plate reduces flow into the filter units of collected solids.
Unidirectional flow diesel particulate filter
A diesel particulate filter (DPF) canister for an exhaust gas aftertreatment module is disclosed. The DPF canister may include a canister housing having an inlet flange and an outlet flange attached at opposite ends, and a canister sealing flange installed there between. The outlet flange may have a greater outer diameter than the inlet flange, and the canister sealing flange may have a greater outer diameter than the inlet and outlet flanges. A DPF receptacle may include a cylindrical receptacle housing with a receptacle sealing flange attached at one end and having a receptacle sealing flange inner diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the inlet flange, but less than the outer diameters of the outlet flange and the canister sealing flange so that the DPF canister can only be installed with the inlet flange inserted through the receptacle sealing flange.
STACKABLE AIR TREATMENT DEVICE
A stackable air treatment device is provided and includes a base, a cover, a plurality of air treatment modules modularly stackable between the base and the cover in groups of one or more to form a stack with the base and the cover and a blower configured to move air from an exterior of the stack into the stack and out through the cover. Each air treatment module in the stack is configured to purify, clean, and/or condition the air moved by the blower.
Air purifier with hinged filter frame
The present invention provides an air purifier. The air purifier according to one preferred embodiment, of the present invention may comprise: a housing; a blowing unit installed in the housing so as to draw in external air; and a filter unit having filtering surfaces, through which the air passes and which are disposed in multiple directions, and an air inflow space, which has at least a part thereof surrounded by the filtering surfaces disposed in the multiple directions and into which the air discharged from, the blowing unit flows.

System and method for automatic control of differential pressure in a baghouse system
Systems and methods for automatic control of a baghouse fabric filter system as a single unit to maintain a consistent pressure drop are disclosed. The fabric filter system may be a pulse jet cleaning system, and a controller may be provided to receive inputs from pressure sensors and other components and to control activation of pulse pipes for cleaning filter bags. The controller may adjust parameters including the dwell time between pulses, the duration of each pulse, and the pulse air pressure. The controller may further optimize these parameters to provide the minimum cleaning necessary per pulse to achieve the consistent differential pressure. By continuously adjusting the parameters, the system maintains the maximum amount of filter cake on the bags to promote optimal emissions control performance.
Filter system
An air filter arrangement for use in a truck pneumatic product transfer system using a generally rectangular housing and two air filter cartridges to alter the shape thereof (primarily reduce the width thereof) allowing the unit to be mounted centrally behind a truck cab or in other locations. The design and shape allows mounting on the truck in preferred areas that are less utilized for accessory equipment and can increase truck aerodynamics. Additionally the filter arrangement can reduce overall truck weight compared to traditional units.
PARALLEL AIR FILTRATION
In various embodiments, an air purification system (100, 300, 400) may include a first air filter (316, 416) that targets at least a first type of pollutant. In various embodiments, air that passes through the first air filter may be unobstructed by other air filters. In various embodiments, a second air filter (316, 416) may target at least a second type of pollutant that is different than the first type of pollutant. In various embodiments, air that passes through the second air filter may also be unobstructed by other air filters. In various embodiments, a controller (102, 302) may be configured to selectively move the first and/or second air filters to expose one or both of the first and second air filters to one or more air streams, e.g., based on user input and/or on one or more signals from one or more pollutant sensors (106, 306).
INTERFACE SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR A TUBULAR FILTER ELEMENT
An interface seal assembly for sealing a tubular filter element relative to a first component and a second component of a fluid filtration system. The interface seal assembly comprises an body located between the first and second components, and having: an aperture extending through the body for communicating with an internal cavity of the filter element; a first mounting surface comprising a first seal groove; and a second mounting surface opposite the first mounting surface, comprising a second seal groove. One of the first and second seal grooves has a circular shape, and the other has a non-circular shape. A first seal is located in the first seal groove, for sealing the interface body relative to one of the first and second components. A second seal is located in the second seal groove, for sealing the body relative to the other of the first and second components.
AIR CLEANER AND VEHICLE
An air cleaner includes a filter element, a case having an opening and being configured to accommodate the filter element, and a lid configured to close the opening. The case includes a wall including a first surface and a second surface that are formed on at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of the case and are continuous with each other in an opening direction of the opening through intermediation of a stepped portion. The case further includes a rib formed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface to extend in the opening direction.
