Filter elements, coalescing baffles, filtration vessel and methods
Improvements to filtration and vessels such as for filtration and coalescing of gas streams are shown. A filter element with a partial treated region and untreated region such as providing different surface energies or other filtration characteristics are provided. Various keying arrangements for compatibility and/or rotational locking are shown between the filtration vessel, a tubular coalescing baffle, and/or filter element. The tubular coalescing baffle also may include non-louvered pore structure, which provides for more even flow in a two stage type filtration vessel to prevent premature exiting and reduction of flow velocities along the second stage, and/or may additionally or alternatively include drainage apertures such as drain slot formed along a gravitational bottom or otherwise to facilitate additional drainage of coalesced liquid as opposed to letting such liquid be forced through fluid velocity toward the open end of the tubular baffle.
AIR PURIFICATION PLANT
An air purification plant, having a partition wall for the spatial separation of a dirty-air space, which is disposed upstream, from a clean-air space, which is disposed downstream, which partition wall has a support frame and a plurality of filter boxes which project from the support frame in the direction of the dirty-air space, and the filter boxes have at least one filter wall which extends from the support frame into the dirty-air space. The filter boxes are in each case open only in the clean-air space which is disposed downstream, wherein filter walls, which face one another, of adjacent filter boxes in each case form a filter pocket which is open on the upstream side and at the bottom, and for switching from one filter pocket into an adjacent filter pocket a suction nozzle is moved through below the filter box which separates the two filter pockets.
A FILTER GROUP OF AIR DIRECTED TO AN AIR ASPIRATION INTAKE OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An air filter group for air supply to internal combustion engines of motor vehicles, of a type comprising an external casing provided with an inlet opening of the air to be filtered, and an outlet opening of the filtered air, and a removable cover, the inlet and outlet openings being separated by a removable filter cartridge which comprises a hollow cylindrical filter wall crossed by the air in a centripetal direction, in which the at least a filter cartridge is fixed to the cover in which cover a chamber is present, delimited by a base provided with at least a hole at which the at least a cartridge is fixed, by an opposite wall to the base and by an annular wall located between the base and the opposite wall and comprising the outlet hole of the filtered air, the cover being destined to be inserted sealedly in the casing.
FILTER ELEMENT
A filtering system may include a holder and an exchangeable filter element. The filter element may include a first end plate, a second end plate, and a filtering material arranged between the first end plate and the second end plate that separates a filtered zone from an unfiltered zone. The second end plate may protrude beyond the filtering material. The filtering system may further include at least one filtered opening and at least one unfiltered opening, and the at least one filtered opening may be disposed in the filter element. The filter element may lie detachably on the holder, and the holder together with the second end plate, the filtering material and an outer wall may enclose the unfiltered zone.
Air cleaner and air conditioner having air-cleaning function
Disclosed herein is an air cleaner, having at least one air inlet formed therein, includes a chassis having at least one air inlet passage inner peripheral surface formed therein, an air-sending device, a filter, and a front panel having at least one air inlet passage outer peripheral surface formed therein. An air inlet passage, providing communication between the air inlet and the filter, is formed between the air inlet passage inner peripheral surface and the air inlet passage outer peripheral surface. The air inlet passage inner peripheral surface and the air inlet passage outer peripheral surface have respective curvatures in a left-right direction, and the curvature of the air inlet passage inner peripheral surface is greater than that of the air inlet passage outer peripheral surface. The filter is composed of a central filter and side filters each having different catching targets, and the side filters are disposed on side surfaces of the central filter and closer to the respective air inlet passage inner peripheral surfaces than the central filter.
Modular air filter housing
An air filter module for modularly mounting angled air filters. The module includes a top plate, bottom plate, left and right front corners with the corners defining perpendicular side walls, angled filter end retention walls, angled side walls, and a back wall with angled side walls, parallel end retention walls, and a positioning guide. The positioning guide is constructed from clips or a guide face and an inner side positioning wall.
Filter Element
A filter element for filtering impurities from air, comprises one or more filter packages whereby each filter package is made of a single-layered or multilayered filter medium and is connected to an inflow opening in an inlet piece. The inlet piece and the inflow opening of the inlet piece have an aerodynamic design, and that the filter package is essentially skittle-shaped, such that one end of which is open and fastened to the inflow opening and the other end of which is closed by a filter medium from which the filter package is also made.
POINT OF USE OR POINT OF DISPENSE FILTER WIHT MULTIPLE PLEAT PACKS
Embodiments provide a filter with a generally rectangular, non-cylindrical profile. The filter may have multiple pleat packs positioned between pleat covers that define regions and flow channels in a cavity of the filter body. The pleat covers have openings that allow a fluid to flow through the multiple pleat packs via parallel flows or series flows. End caps bonded to the body define flow passages for directing the fluid from an inlet to an outlet via the pleat packs for series or parallel filtration. The pleat packs may be made of the same or different materials and may be configured with the same or different heights based on flow requirements. A cage or a separator may be positioned between the pleat packs. The pleat packs may be made of a continuous pleated membrane with bridges defining a space between the pleat packs to accommodate the cage or separator.
Coalescer filter
A coalescing filter assembly including a coalescing filter element is provided. The coalescing filter assembly includes a base housing and a cover housing that together form a coalescing chamber. Disposed within the coalescing chamber is the coalescing filter element. The coalescing filter element includes a frame with a partition that separates an unfiltered side from a filtered side of the coalescing filter assembly. A port connects the unfiltered side to the filtered side through the partition. A coalescing tube including coalescing filter media is connected to the port. Unfiltered fluid that enters the coalescing filter assembly is passed through the coalescing filter media such that the contaminants are removed to create a filtered fluid. The filtered fluid exits the coalescing filter assembly at an outlet of the coalescing filter assembly.
