Cleanable filters and methods of cleaning filters are described in the present application. The cleanable air filter includes a housing and a filter element installed in the housing. The filter element is configured to filter an operating fluid in a given application. The filter element is cleanable in-situ in the installed condition in the housing. The cleanable air filter further includes a cleaning fluid applicator configured to apply a cleaning fluid to the filter element while the filter element is in the installed condition in the housing such that the filter element is cleanable without being removed from the filter housing.

A method and a cleaning device for cleaning tubes of tube bundles, wherein at least one rotating cleaning lance is used. During the insertion of the cleaning lance, the insertion depth E of the cleaning lance is measured and is stored and documented in a storage and documentation device. The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus having a washable filter provided on an air circulation conduit for drying laundry. Disclosed is the laundry treating apparatus that is capable of automatically or manually washing the filter. The laundry treating apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a cabinet (1); an outer tub (2) disposed within the cabinet (1); an inner tub (3) rotatably disposed within the outer tub (2); a circulation conduit (10) that serves as a guide to allow at least a part of air within the outer tub (2) to be discharged from the outer tub (2) and supplied back to the outer tub (2); a fan (17) disposed on the circulation conduit (10) to move air; a filter net (22) disposed on the circulation conduit (10) to filter foreign substances included in the moving air; a filter frame (24) that supports the filter net (22); and a nozzle (32) that sprays water to remove the foreign substances filtered by the filter net (22). At least a part of the filter frame (24) includes an extraction frame (24a) that is able to be extracted from the cabinet (1).

A filtering device for removing particles from a fluid of a patient is provided. The filtering device being implantable in the patient's body and comprising a cassette comprising a revolving member, said revolving member having at least two segments each holding a respective filter. The device further comprises a tube forming a fluid passageway through one of the filters in said cassette, wherein the cassette is adapted to, upon revolution of the revolving cylinder, change the filter positioned in the fluid passageway from a first one of said filters to a second one of said filters, thereby allowing particles present on the first filter to be moved away from the fluid passageway, while at the same time changing the filter positioned in the fluid passageway.

An air freshening system, including: an air compressor, for flowing air; a water inlet, for supplying water; a central pipe, for receiving the air from the air compressor, and for receiving the water from the water inlet; and a plurality of end devices, each including: a water dripper, including an inlet, for communicating with the central pipe; a filter, for filtering the air; and an outlet, for supplying filtered air, thereby allowing cleaning the filters of the plurality of end devices by supplying the water thereto.

A laundry appliance includes a rotating drum and a door providing access to the rotating drum. A blower directs process air through an air path that includes the drum. A heat exchanger within the air path dehumidifies the process air. A first lint filter within the air path is forward of the drum and below the door. A second lint filter within the air path is downstream of the first lint filter and forward of the heat exchanger. The first and second lint filters capture lint from the process air upstream of the heat exchanger. The first lint filter is angled with respect to the second lint filter. A filter spray system has a plurality of fluid sprayers that deliver fluid to the first and second lint filters, respectively. Each fluid sprayer directs captured lint from the first and second lint filters to a common drain channel.

Disclosed are filter media packs having a single layer of a high loft filter media and a single layer of a low loft filter media, the filter media pack characterized by the absence of oil added to the filter media pack, the filter media pack capable of filtering air laden particulates from an air stream at greater than 94% efficiency at air stream flow rates of between about 100 feet per minute and 3000 feet per minute. Also disclosed are filter assemblies formed from the filter media pack, and methods of using the filter assemblies.

A blood clot removal device for removing blood clots from the vascular system of a patient is implantable in the patient's body. The blood clot removal device comprises a blood flow passageway to be connected to the patient's vascular system to allow circulation of the patient's blood through the blood flow passageway, a filter provided in the blood flow passageway for collecting blood clots occurring in the blood flowing through the blood flow passageway, and a cleaning device for moving blood clots collected by the filter out of the blood flow passageway. By means of such blood clot removal device, the risk of blood clots reaching sensitive areas of the patient's body, such as the brain, is reduced.

A laundry treating machine is provided. The laundry treating machine may include a tub to receive wash water, a drum rotatably provided in the tub, an air supply device to supply air to the tub, a lint filter to filter lint from the air circulated by the air supply device, a filter cleaning device to supply cleaning water to the lint filter to remove the lint from the lint filter, and a cooling water supply device to supply cooling water to an inner surface of the tub such that moisture contained in air is condensed at the inner surface of the tub.
