The present invention relates to an improved water pipe comprising a chamber containing water in its lower portion, its upper compact cylindrical portion serving as a smoke collection reservoir; a bowl for combusting tobacco or medicinal herbs, the smoke directed through a tube to the water chamber below the water; and a mouth piece for applying suction to the interior of the chamber to inhale the smoke.

Air purification methodology and apparatus

A method of air purification and apparatus uses thorough air-bath to trap airborne debris and gaseous molecules in the liquid. Incoming air are reduced repeatedly and thoroughly at various stages into tiny air bubbles in contact with liquid in the apparatus where airborne materials and gaseous molecules are trapped in the liquid. This cleaning system can effectively remove small or large airborne debris and gaseous molecules, in contrast to cleaning effectiveness limited by the filter pore sizes in traditional filter system. The liquid can be water, water mixed with any designed substances or other type of liquid phase of materials. In exemplary case, water is used as a part of filtration medium, the apparatus thus can be served as both air purifier and humidifier. A relatively high humidity in the air would help to trap more airborne debris, which makes the air purification apparatus more efficient.

FACILITY FOR PRODUCING AND TREATING A GAS STREAM THROUGH A VOLUME OF LIQUID

The facility (1A) includes at least two treatment devices (2) each with an exchange chamber (20) intended to contain a liquid bath in the bottom part and at least one injection line (21). An aeraulic means (4), creates by suction or by blowing, simultaneously and in parallel for each treatment device (2), an incoming gas stream (F) originating from outside the exchange chambers (2) and passes through the discharge opening of the injection line (21) by being introduced into the liquid bath contained in the bottom part of the exchange chamber (20), below the surface (S) of said liquid bath. The exchange chambers (20) communicate hydraulically with one another so that when the aeraulic means (4) are shut down, each exchange chamber (20) is suitable for containing or contains, in the bottom part, an initial volume (V.sub.initial) of liquid, with an initial liquid level (H.sub.initial) that is identical in all the exchange chambers (2).

System and method to combine a filter system with a freeze dryer to filter contamination of a vacuum pump

The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a filter to prevent contamination of vacuum pumps during use with freeze dryers. The system and method comprising of a vacuum pump connected to a freeze dryer, the vacuum pump evacuating pressure from the freeze dryer; the vacuum pump connected to a coalescing filter at least partially collects water vapor and the particulate gas, whereby the particulates in the particulate gas are at least partially separated from the gas, the coalescing filter further separating the oil from the water and particulates, whereby the oil is rejuvenated for use with the oil composition; an oil control valve to control pressure in the system and maintain a level of oil in the vacuum pump; a drain valve to enable draining of impurities, and a final filter that injects air into oil exchanged between the sedimentary filter and vacuum pump.

The filtration liquid tank (100) includes a tank body (1) formed with an inlet and an outlet; a cyclone separator (3) disposed within the tank body (1) and in communication with the outlet, defining a cyclone separation chamber therein, and formed with a cyclone inlet (31) in communication with the cyclone separation chamber; and a water pressing assembly (2) disposed within the tank body (1) and in communication with the inlet, and configured to guide an airstream entering from the inlet towards a filtration medium and produce a circumferential motion, the airstream filtered by the filtration medium being exhausted from the outlet.

METHOD OF REMOVING IMPURITIES

The impurity removal method removes impurities in an exhaust gas and includes forming a froth layer in a tank, by blowing the exhaust gas into an absorbing liquid contained in the tank via a gas dispersion pipe, wherein, given that a proportion of the gas occupying the froth layer is defined as a gas holdup, impurities such as soot dust included in a gas such as an exhaust gas is removed efficiently and at a low cost by setting a gas holdup in the froth layer to be 0.40.9, setting a height of the froth layer to be 0.21.8 m, and setting a gas-liquid contact area per unit volume of the froth layer to be 15002500 m.sup.2/m.sup.3.
