AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM FOR AN ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER, CORRESPONDING METHOD OF OPERATION AND ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER

A method of operating an air purification system (24″) of an ion mobility spectrometer, the method comprising: operating the ion mobility spectrometer in a first sampling mode comprising circulating a flow of air around a closed air circulation system comprising a drift chamber (12) of the ion mobility spectrometer and a first sieve (70) of the air purification system; and operating the ion mobility spectrometer in a first regeneration mode comprising heating the first sieve and circulating a first flow of air through a second sieve (72) of the air purification system and through the drift chamber (12) while passing a second flow of air through the first sieve (70) to an outtake (76).

ADSORBENT BED FOR MERCAPTAN REMOVAL WITH INCREASED HYDROTHERMAL STABILITY

Disclosed in certain embodiments are methods of removing water from a gas feed stream comprising mercaptans and water during an adsorption step of an adsorption cycle.

DRYING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DRYING COMPRESSED GAS

Method for drying compressed gas by means of a drying device with an inlet and an outlet including at least two vessels filled with a regenerable desiccant and a controllable valve system including a first and a second valve block connecting the inlet, respectively the outlet to the vessels. The valve system is being regulated such that one vessel will dry compressed gas, while the other vessel is successively regenerated and cooled. The method includes a first and a second cooling cycle. The first cooling cycle includes passing ambient air through the vessel to be cooled. The second cooling cycle includes branching off, expanding and sending dried compressed gas through the outlet to be branched off and then blowing it off through the vessel to be cooled, using either the first or the second cooling cycle, or both, depending on predetermined conditions.

A sorbent article is described including a plurality of sorbent elements structured to adsorb and desorb CO.sub.2 and a plurality of hydrophobic elements mixed with the plurality of sorbent elements and structured to exert hydrophobic force to expel liquid water from the sorbent article. Also described herein are methods of forming such sorbent articles for the purpose of swing adsorption, including for direct air capture (DAC) of carbon dioxide.

EXHAUST FAN FOR PREVENTING AIR POLLUTION

An exhaust fan for preventing air pollution includes a main body and at least one gas detection module. The main body is configured to form an airflow-guiding path and includes a gas guider and a filtration and purification component disposed in the airflow-guiding path. The gas guider introduces an air convection for guiding an air pollution source contained in an air to pass through the filtration and purification component so as to filter and purify the air pollution source. The at least one gas detection module is disposed in the airflow-guiding path for detecting the air pollution source and transmitting gas detection data.

HUMIDIYING UNIT
20230003400 · 2023-01-05 ·

A humidifying unit humidifies a target space, and includes an adsorption member haying moisture adsorption and release areas, a heater that heats the moisture release area, fans to generate an air flow, a housing, an electric component including a heat generating component, and a cooler to air-cool the heat generating component. The housing accommodates the adsorption member, the heater, and the fans. The housing has a humidifying air path through which air taken from outside the housing by the fans is discharged outside the housing via the adsorption member, and a cooling air path in which the to cooler is disposed and air taken from outside the housing by the fans is joined with the humidifying air path. A route of air passing through the humidifying air path from the cooling air path and being discharged outside the housing does not pass through the moisture adsorption area of the adsorption member.
