Method for the purification of flue gas, filter system therefor, and retrofit unit
A flue gas is cleaned by feeding same to a filtering separator. The filtering separator is accommodated in a housing, and the housing has a pre-filter side ahead of the filtering separator and a clean side following the filtering separator in the flue gas flow direction. A filter element has an adsorbent formed of dust-free spheroidal charcoal on the clean side of the housing. The flue gas flows through the adsorbent in the filter element. Harmful substances from the group including mercury and/or dioxin and/or furan and/or further heavy metals are thereby removed from the flue gas.
Carbon capture system, apparatus, and method
A combined power conversion and carbon capture and recycling subsystem including a fossil fueled oxidation unit, a physical adsorbent CO2 capture medium, rotor, motor, heater, CO2 compressor, diffuser and water storage tank. Exhaust gas from fossil fuel oxidation is scrubbed of CO2 via passage across a physical adsorbent and then released from the adsorbent via fuel oxidation waste heat. High CO2 concentration scrubber exhaust air is then compressed and fed to a diffuser which facilitates dissociation of the CO2 into water where it is temporarily stored for use in watering plants. Carbon from fossil fuel is recycled back into the environment and permanently stored as biomass by natural means of photosynthesis.

ROTARY BED DEHUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH CONTROL OF CONDENSATION IN RECIRCULATING LOOP
A rotary sorption bed system includes a rotating sorbent mass of a regenerable sorbent material, in which in a cycle of operation, a given volume of the sorbent mass sequentially passes through first, second, third, and fourth zones, before returning to the first zone. A process fluid stream is directed through the first zone, a regeneration fluid stream is directed through the third zone, and a recycled fluid stream recirculates in a closed loop independent of the process fluid stream and the regeneration fluid stream through the second and fourth zones. At least one parameter of the recycled fluid stream, including at least one of the dry bulb temperature and the dew point of the recycled fluid stream, is monitored and the recycled fluid stream is controlled based on the at least one parameter. The recycled fluid stream can be any one or more of purge, isolation, and purge/regeneration loops.

Apparatus and System for Swing Adsorption Processes
Provided are apparatus and systems for performing a swing adsorption process. This swing adsorption process may involve performing a startup mode process prior to beginning a normal operation mode process to remove contaminants from a gaseous feed stream. The startup mode process may be utilized for swing adsorption processes, such as TSA and/or PSA, which are utilized to remove one or more contaminants from a gaseous feed stream.
DEHUMIDIFICATION MEMBER, DEHUMIDIFICATION ROTOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DEHUMIDIFICATION MEMBER
An object is to provide a dehumidifying member having a high tensile strength. The object can be achieved by a dehumidifying member including a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure includes a planar base material and a corrugated base material, a contact part where a wave top portion of the corrugated base material and the planar base material are in contact with each other, and an air hole. The contact part includes an adhesion part adhered by an adhesive agent and silica gel formed on the air hole side from the contact part. The component forming the adhesive agent differs from the component of the silica gel formed on the air hole side from the adhesion part.
AIR CONDITIONING ROTATING BODY AND AIR TREATMENT DEVICE
An air conditioning rotating body including a rotor having a cylindrical shape. The rotor is housed in a casing so as to be freely rotatable. The casing includes a seal member. The air conditioning rotating body treats air passing through the rotor in an axial direction. The seal member extends in a radial direction of the rotor and separates air passages. An end face of the rotor in the axial direction is provided with at least one spoke in contact with the seal member. A contact point of the seal member with the spoke is configured to move in the radial direction as the rotor rotates.
