SYSTEM FOR REMOVING AMMONIA, DUST AND PATHOGENS FROM AIR WITHIN AN ANIMAL REARING/SHELTERING FACILITY
An air purification and recirculation system positioned within an animal rearing/sheltering facility. The system draws untreated air into an elongated air treatment apparatus having a dust scrubbing section, an ammonia scrubbing section, and acid scrubbing section, configured so that the treatment sections are positioned in series. At the end of the air treatment process, the treated air is exhausted back into the animal rearing facility so that the air is circulated within the facility. Acid and water used during the air treatment process are continuously recycled and directed back through the scrubbers in the air treatment apparatus.

A device (1) and method are claimed for converting thermal energy into dissociation energy of molecules of a gas medium (3). The device incorporates a reaction vacuum chamber (2), designed to enable a gas medium (3) to be supplied therein, at least one thermal radiator (4), of which at least one emission spectral line of a medium (5), in the temperature range 350° C. to 1500° C., at least partially corresponds to the absorption spectral line of molecules of the gas medium (3). At least part of the volume of the vacuum chamber (2) is positioned in the zone of optical visibility of the radiator (4) and is a reaction volume (7) for the gas medium (3), in which reaction volume, as a result of resonance oscillations of molecules of the gas medium (3), excited by the radiator (4), at least partial dissociation of the gas medium (3) takes place. The device also incorporates a system (8) for drawing off at least one product of dissociation of molecules of the gas medium (3).
HVAC system air filter
An apparatus and a method are provided for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system air filter for a building ventilation system. The HVAC system air filter comprises a supportive frame configured to orient the HVAC system air filter within the building ventilation system. A composite filter medium retained within the supportive frame comprises a cotton gauze portion and an electrostatic portion. The cotton gauze portion is configured for treatment with a filter oil composition to enhance airflow and filtration of air flowing through the composite filter medium. The electrostatic portion is configured to electrostatically attract and agglomerate airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as small as 0.001 microns in diameter. In some embodiments, the composite filter medium comprises substances configured to release a fragrance into air passing through the composite filter medium.
Aerosol particulate matter collecting device and collecting method
The aerosol particulate matter collecting device includes a shell, a first electric field component, a second electric field component and the collection unit. The first electric field component is connected to the shell and forms a first electric field area, the second electric field component is connected to the shell and forms a second electric field area, the second electric field component includes a first plate and a second plate, and the electric property of the first plate is opposite to that of the first electric charges; a bottom plate of the collection unit is located between the first plate and the second plate, protrusions are arranged on the bottom plate, a flow channel for accommodating collecting liquid is formed in the bottom plate, the protrusions are configured to enable the flow channel to extend along a curve.
EXHAUST GAS PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for removing dust from exhaust gas, comprising a dust removing system inlet, a dust removing system outlet, and an electric field apparatus (1021). The electric field apparatus (1021) comprises an electric field apparatus inlet, an electric field apparatus outlet, a dust-removing electric field cathode (10212) and a dust-removing electric field anode (10211). The dust-removing electric field cathode (10212) and the dust-removing electric field anode (10211) are used to generate an ionizing electric field for dust removal. When a certain amount of dust has accumulated on the electric field apparatus, the electric field apparatus performs a black carbon removal process, thereby avoiding a reduced electrode gap resulting from an increased thickness of black carbon.
PEELABLE FILTERS PERMITTING DAMAGE FREE REMOVAL
The present disclosure provides filters that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.
ELECTROSPRAY VORTICAL FLOW EXCHANGER
An air conditioning device includes an inlet plenum to receive input air, a sprayer to charge at least one of a plurality of liquid droplets generating at least one charged liquid droplet and to release the charged liquid droplet into air rotating vortex, moving the input air within a spray chamber, to cause the charged liquid droplet to attract and attach a vapor molecule of the input air separating the molecule from the input air, a separation chamber to cause the liquid droplet with the attached vapor molecule to separate from the vortex to condense and collect as liquid, and an air outlet to direct, away from the air conditioning device, output air including air remaining following the separation, from the vortex, of the liquid droplet with the attached vapor molecule, where a first humidity of the output air is less than a second humidity of the input air.
