APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY
Disclosed herein are several embodiments of a negative pressure appliance and methods of using the same in the treatment of wounds. Some embodiments are directed to improved fluidic connectors or suction adapters for connecting to a wound site, for example using softer, kink-free conformable suction adapters.
Transdermal carrier
Improved formulations for topical treatment that ensure at least localized transdermal or systemic delivery of an active agent through skin, nails or hair follicles are disclosed.

Adhesive patch
An adhesive patch comprising: a support; at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the support; and a release liner attached on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so as to cover the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which the support is a 3D patterned sheet characterized in that a plurality of protruded lines and recessed lines parallelly and linearly extending are formed inside and outside lines in a plurality of figures partitioned by the lines, walls of the protruded lines and recessed lines in some of the figures are formed to be inclined by different inclination angles with respect to a base part, and the protruded lines have different heights from the base part, serving as physical parameters of the protruded lines and recessed lines, toward a predetermined direction in the sheet.
Wound therapy system with internal alternating orifice
A wound therapy system includes a dressing sealable over a wound and defining a wound space between the dressing and the wound, tubing fluidly communicable with the wound space, and a canister fluidly communicable with the tubing. The canister, the tubing, and the dressing define a sealed space that includes the wound space. The wound therapy system also includes a therapy unit coupled to the canister. The therapy unit includes a sensor configured to measure a pressure in the sealed space, a valve positioned between the sealed space and a surrounding environment and controllable between an open position and a closed position, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to control the valve to alternate between the open position and the closed position to allow airflow through the valve, receive measurements from the sensor, and determine a volume of the wound space based on the measurements.
Flexible absorbent bandage
A bandage includes a top film, an absorbent layer and a perforated adhesive lower layer positioned under the absorbent layer for adhering the bandage to a user's skin. The absorbent layer includes at least one incision that improves the flexibility of the bandage.

A bandage includes a top film, an absorbent layer and a perforated adhesive lower layer positioned under the absorbent layer for adhering the bandage to a user's skin. The absorbent layer includes at least one incision that improves the flexibility of the bandage.
ELECTRICALLY-HEATABLE PLASTER
The invention relates to electrically-heatable plasters which comprise a self-adhesive skin contact layer, an electrically-conductive textile fabric in which electrically-conductive fibres are in contact with one another, as a heating element, and optionally at least one active substance, as well as to a method for production and the use of same for local heat therapy and/or transdermal application of active substances.
Multi-Lumen Bridge for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System
A bridge for facilitating delivery of reduced pressure to a wound site of a patient includes a reduced pressure lumen configured to be fluidly coupled to a reduced pressure source, and a secondary pressure lumen configured to be fluidly coupled to a secondary pressure source at a first end and to the reduced pressure lumen at a second end, thereby facilitating flow of exudate removed from the wound site by the reduced pressure source using the secondary pressure source. The reduced pressure lumen or the secondary pressure lumen includes a skin contacting surface formed of a moisture permeable membrane comprising an air-impermeable film that allows moisture from the patient to transfer into the reduced pressure lumen or secondary pressure lumen through the moisture permeable membrane while maintaining reduced pressure at the wound site.
WOUND DRESSING SYSTEM
A wound dressing system configured to determine an exudate uptake pattern of a wound dressing is disclosed. The wound dressing system comprises a wound dressing and a monitor device. The wound dressing comprises an absorbent core layer, a proximal electrode assembly comprising a first plurality of electrodes, and a distal electrode assembly comprising a second plurality of electrodes. The monitor device of the wound dressing system is configured to detect a short-circuiting event across a primary and a secondary electrode of the first/second plurality of electrodes. Further, the monitor device is configured to indicate an exudate uptake pattern of the wound dressing based on the short-circuiting events. Thereby, an optimum or improved use of the wound dressing is enabled and facilitated. Further disclosed is a sensor pack for a wound dressing system and a method for determining an exudate uptake pattern of a wound dressing.
