SPLINT AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
A splint and an operation method thereof are provided. The splint includes a plurality of plates and a splint fastening device. The splint fastening device is connected to the plurality of plates and configured to allow the plurality of plates to be relatively close to each other or relatively away from each other. At least one plate of the plurality of plates includes two sub-plates that are relatively rotatable, and the splint is capable of being bent or restored by relative rotation of the two sub-plates.
Immobilizer preform, immobilizer device, and method of forming the same
Aspects of the invention include preforms used to be formed into an immobilizer for use with a patient. The preform includes a preform member that is formed from a thermoplastic material and a filler material. The preform member is relatively rigid at a first temperature and formable at an elevated second temperature. The preform member is opaque at the first and second temperatures. The preform also includes at least one indicator associated with the preform member. The at least one indicator is formed from a thermoplastic material and is opaque at the first temperature and translucent at the second temperature. The at least one indicator can provide a visual indication of readiness to form the preform into the immobilizer upon heating the preform member to the second temperature at which the indicator is translucent.

The support wrap including at least an upper portion, the upper portion of said the support wrap having a first side extending along a first direction by a first length, the upper portion of said the support wrap having a second side extending along a second direction by a second length, the upper portion of said the support wrap having a third side extending along a third direction by a third length, the first direction is in a different direction than the second direction, the first direction is in a different direction than the third direction, the first length being greater than the second length, the first length being greater than the third length, the upper portion including a first upper fastening member, and said first upper fastening member capable of fastening said first side to said second side.
Method of Providing Custom Limb Rehabilitation Devices for Animals by Executing Computer-Executable Instructions Stored on a Non-Transitory Computer-Readable Medium
A method of providing custom limb rehabilitation devices for animals provides a software application for an end user to submit subject attributes and injury data for an injured animal in order to procure a custom brace or cast for the animal. The subject attributes and injury data are processed in order to produce a digital limb rehabilitation model, which is then used to create a physical counterpart of the digital model through an additive manufacturing.
MEDICAL FIXATION APPARATUS FOR LESION
The present invention relates to a medical fixation apparatus for a lesion. According to an embodiment, a medical cast comprises: an expansion band having a predetermined length; a pair of elastic fibers which are coupled to opposite widthwise edges of the expansion band, are coated with a water-curable synthetic resin, and can surround a body part; and a plurality of coupling units, which have a flat shape and, when the pair of elastic fibers surround a body part, are arranged at a predetermined interval along an edge at which the pair of elastic fibers face each other to connect the pair of elastic fibers.
