BENDABLE SPLINT AND MOLDING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a splint bendable in a curved shape and a method of forming thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there may be provided a splint bendable in a curved shape comprising a lower splint portion having a plurality of first ventilation holes formed at a certain interval; an extension splint portion in which a plurality of extension holes are formed at a certain interval; and an upper splint portion in which a plurality of second ventilation holes are formed at a certain interval, and wherein the lower splint portion, the extension splint portion, and the upper splint portion are bent into an arc shape by a first bending, and a second bending wherein the lower splint portion and the upper splint portion are bent at different angles by a plurality of extension holes is performed for the extension splint portion.
System and method for providing medical attention
Ameliorative actions are taken using a system equipped with sensors and equipment for attending to a patient. Operation of the system is controlled at a remote site or alternatively at the location of an injury. Injury assessment and the patient's affective and/or cognitive state may be facilitated through the analysis of data obtained by the sensors.

ORTHOPEDIC CAST VENTILATOR
An orthopedic cast ventilator apparatus and related methods are provided. The cast ventilator includes an air pump disposed within a housing connected to an air delivery cuff via tubing. The air pump draws air into the air mover through a primary air filter and through an air intake aperture. The air pump also pumps air out through a discharge port in the housing, through a length of tubing, through a secondary air filter, and into an air delivery cuff. The cleaned air fills two arms of the air delivery cuff and is forced out through cuff discharge ports.
ADJUSTABLE EXTERNAL FIXING BRACE
A medical fixing brace, which is characterized in that it is a mesh-shaped plate provided with several large ventilation openings and injection molded from a shape memory material. On both the front and rear surfaces of each side of the mesh plate in proximity to the transverse edges, several mounting holes used for connecting an engaging fitting apparatus are provided symmetrically along the plate-shape structure, or several mounting holes for connecting an engaging fitting are provided on at least one surface. The thickness of the mesh-shaped plate are thinned at the mounting holes; and, provided within the mounting holes are some parts for mounting the engaging fitting apparatus. The fixing brace has no coating layer, allows with the large hole structure thereof the direct viewing of condition changes, and prevents the occurrence of post-traumatic complications; clamping tightness can be adjusted throughout a treatment, compression on soft tissues is maintained, and fixing effects are great; the fixing brace can be used on either the left or right, operation is simple for a physician. The material used for the fixing brace is nonabsorbent and has no padding structure, dries quickly after shower, provides great comfort, prevents the occurrence of itchiness and dermatitis. This is applicable in externally fixing body parts such as the upper limb, the neck, the chest, the waist, and the lower limb.
A SPLINT-ARMORED BANDAGE AND A METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION
A bandage for fixation of a limb is disclosed, the bandage comprising at least one flexible, thermoplastic polymer splint which is shaped and in plasticized condition attached to the surface of a longitudinal strip of fabric which is elastic in its length direction, the fabric and splint having a length sufficient for wrapping in layers about a limb. The splint is formed to the shape of a wave wherein adjacent splint ribs are interconnected at a wave crest or a wave trough respectively, wherein at least one of the wave crests and the wave troughs is located near, i.e. in the region of, a longitudinal edge of the strip of fabric. A method for manufacture of the splint-armored bandage is likewise disclosed.
CAST FOR PATIENT HAVING FRACTURE AND FOR PROTECTING AFFECTED AREA OF DIABETIC PATIENT
Proposed is an improved cast used for covering an affected area of a patient having a fracture or dislocation or diabetic patient to keep the continuity of the affected area and the unaffected area, and to protect the affected area from external shock.

COMPOUND (MULTI-LAYER) WATERPROOF BANDAGE
One embodiment of a waterproof bandage for reliably protecting sensitive sites from water intrusion, despite potential flaws in the seal to skin, comprises three major components: the inner bandage, comprising an absorbent layer (1) and a waterproof layer (2); the outer bandage, comprising an absorbent layer (3) and a waterproof layer (4); and an adhesive layer (5) binding the waterproof layer of the inner bandage (2) and the absorbent layer of the outer bandage (3) together. When properly sized, registered and bonded, the outer absorbent layer (3) functions to wick away and to prevent any water that may penetrate the outer waterproof layer (4) from breaching or damaging the inner bandage. The waterproof bandage can be configured in various sizes as a bandage (FIG. 1), or as a sleeve-like cover for a protected site on hands, arms, feet, legs, and other parts of the body (FIGS. 3 and 4).
Shape memory spacer fabric composite
The invention provides a shape memory spacer fabric composite, being a spacer fabric coated with a shape memory polymer layer, wherein the spacer fabric comprises a first outer layer, a second outer layer and an intermediate spacing layer connecting the first outer layer and the second outer layer; the shape memory polymer layer is made from at least one block or random copolymer selected from the group consisting of the following: polyesters, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyols; the copolymer has at least one phase transition temperature in a range of 40˜80° C.
