DRESSING WITH AREA MANAGEMENT FOR EXTREMITIES
A manifold for use with a dressing for treating an area around an extremity of a patient may include a concave recess positioned at a first end of the manifold. A fold axis may bisect the concave recess and extend from the first end of the manifold to a second end of the manifold. A first portion of the manifold may extend orthogonal to the fold axis toward a first side of the manifold, and a second portion of the manifold may extend orthogonal to the fold axis toward a second side of the manifold opposite to the first side. The fold axis may be configured to extend lengthwise along the extremity. Additionally disclosed are other apparatus, dressings, systems, and methods.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING COMPRESSION WITH COMPRESSION BANDAGES HAVING STRETCHABLE ELECTRONICS
Systems and methods are described for monitoring compression applied by a compression bandage to a body portion of an individual. A system embodiment includes, but is not limited to, a textile configured to conform to a body portion of an individual subject; one or more strain gauges integrated with the textile, the one or more strain gauges configured to generate one or more sense signals associated with a strain of the textile; circuitry operably coupled to the one or more strain gauges and configured to receive the one or more sense signals associated with the strain of the textile; and a reporter operably coupled to the circuitry and configured to generate one or more communication signals associated with the strain of the textile responsive to instruction by the circuitry when the strain of the textile is less than or greater than a threshold strain value.

Precut adhesive body support articles and support system
The invention provides an adhesive support article for supporting a body part of a user. A single-sided stretchable adhesive tape blank is precut into a sheet having a central anchoring portion and a plurality of outwardly extending fingers. The sheet is marked with visual indicators to guide the user of the support article for applying the central anchoring portion onto a first exterior surface of the body part and for stretching the fingers before adhering them at a predetermined distance away from the central anchoring portion. The adhesive support article can also be provided in a support system with at least one corresponding body landmark article, providing further guidance for applying the support article to the desired body part.

FABRIC SLEEVES COVERING TOE AND FINGER BLEMISHES AND TREATING SAID BLEMISHES
A system is provided comprising a columnar sleeve of stretchable fabric, the sleeve produced in various skin tone colors and configured to slip upon an individual toe or finger and an absorbent padding configured for attachment to an inside surface of the sleeve, the padding configured to cover about one half of an interior circumference of the inside surface, the padding optionally infused with at least one of pain killers, antiseptics, and soothing gels. The system also comprises wax paper covering the padding prior to use of the sleeve, an applicator shaped to facilitate slipping the sleeve upon the individual toe or finger, and convex-shaped flex bands placed lengthwise into the sleeve. The flex bands exert downward pressure on one of a toe and a finger and are placed in a U-shape, thus promoting the downward pressure.

IMPROVED SYNDESMOSIS REDUCTION DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An improved syndesmosis reduction device has a wrap of elastic material extending a length L from a first end to a second end with an open window or slot positioned in an intermediate portion of the wrap spaced from the ends. The wrap is configured to achieve a reduction of an injured ankle and is facilitated by the elastic nature of the ankle wrap. The reduction is facilitated by circumferentially wrapping the wrap from a leg to a foot or vice versa in a compressive fashion by securing the first end by wrapping and stretching the wrap to the second end. The window or slot is to permit an incision at the ankle for hardware placement without the need to remove the wrap and without loss of the reduction achieved.
HEEL FLOAT THERAPEUTIC FOOTWEAR
A heel float therapeutic footwear for people that spend a large amount of time in bed. The heel float therapeutic footwear includes a lower leg support portion, a foot support portion, and a wing support structure. The foot support portion extends from the lower leg support portion and includes a foot support platform. The wing support structure is permanently attached to the foot support platform. The wing support structure is adjustably fastenable to a side of the lower leg support portion to adjustably support a position and an angle of the foot support platform with respect to the lower leg support portion. A method of making a heel float therapeutic footwear is also disclosed.
SELF-ADHESIVE FLEXIBLE BANDAGES FOR JOINTS
A self-adhesive flexible therapeutic bandage for joints is disclosed. The bandage has a permanent hole cut at a central portion for applying the bandage directly to a bodily injury and a plurality of adhesive fastening strips at each end of the bandage for protecting, supporting, and resisting the movement of the muscle-skeletal structure at the joints area. The strips are arranged in a crisscross manner for better protection. Each strip is capable of providing independent flexion.
