PALM WRAP DEVICE
A palm wrap device to assist with deep tissue massages provides tension relief by serving as an alternative to using the thumb and is easy to use and remove. The device contains a top surface; a bottom surface; a broad end; a first protruding end; a second protruding end; a first fastener, second fastener, third fastener, and fourth fastener; a palm pocket; one or more palm wedges; and an optional wrist support band.
MEDICAL BANDAGE WITH SUPPORT AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A medical bandage includes a bandage substrate having a portion designated to receive and underlie an arm of a patient as a non-sterile area. A flap attached longitudinally along one edge of the non-sterile area of the bandage substrate is positionable in: (i) an open position for insertion of the arm; and (ii) a closed position over top of the arm of the patient. The flap has an opening that exposes at least a forearm portion as a sterilizable area of the arm of the patient for therapeutic or diagnostic access to a blood vein. An inner adhesive layer is attached to an inner surface of the flap around the opening to releasably adhere to the arm of the patient. An access panel is sized to cover the opening. An outer adhesive layer attached to an outer surface releasably adheres to an outer annular area of the access panel.

Wrist brace for protecting integrity of the carpal tunnel
A wrist brace for providing temporary comfort to sufferers of wrist pain. The wrist brace ovates the carpal tunnel through a pair of crisscrossing guylines each independently anchored on a wrist strap. One guyline hooks to the pinky finger and the other guyline hooks to the thumb. The guylines overlap at an X that is offset from the wrist strap over the palm. The anchor points of the guylines can be independently moved to change the tensions there along. The guylines can be used in conjunction with popular wrist-worn devices and jewelry or a dedicated wrist strap fitted with a hook-and-loop faster system.
COMPRESSION GAUGE FOR THERAPEUTIC COMPRESSION GARMENTS
A method and apparatus for treating edema is disclosed. The method may include obtaining a compression garment comprising material having an end stretch. At least one gauge may be applied to the material. The compression garment may be applied to a patient. During the applying, the material may be stretched until the at least one gauge indicates that a proper amount of stretch has been reached. The at least one gauge may be tuned so that the material arrives at or near end stretch at substantially the same time that the at least one gauge indicates that the proper amount of stretch has been reached.
ADHESIVE TAPE
An adhesive tape (1) comprises a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and a release material layer, wherein two edges (11 and 12) extending in the longitudinal direction of the adhesive tape include parallel portions (11a and 12a), the length of one of the two edges (11 and 12) is greater than the length of the other, the ends of the two edges (11 and 12) are connected to the ends of two other edges (13 and 14), and two angles formed between the longer edge of the two edges (11 and 12) extending in the longitudinal direction and the two other edges (13 and 14) are acute angles.

Light therapy apparatus
A light therapy apparatus is described that includes a housing, a laser mounted in the interior of the housing, and a control circuit that controls the laser according to a control program. The housing includes an opening extending through a first surface of the housing from an interior of the housing. The first surface is perpendicular to the bottom of the housing. The laser is mounted in the interior of the housing so as to output laser light in a direction perpendicular to the bottom of the housing, and the housing and the laser are arranged so that eyes of a user are shielded from direct contact with the laser light output by the laser by the laser light output from the laser being indirectly output through the opening.
Fingerstall
A fingerstall, in particular for treatment of defects of the distal phalanx of the finger with a closed distal end, an open proximal end, and an interior. Provision is made that a chamber is formed in the fingerstall at the distal end thereof and the chamber is in liquid communication with the interior of the fingerstall.
WOUND DRESSING
The invention relates to a wound dressing device for securing a dressing in position on a wound, wherein the wound dressing device comprises: a retaining device for encompassing a portion of the body; a dressing, and; a fastening element that can secure the dressing in position. The fastening element being configured at least substantially external to the retaining device, the dressing being configured at least substantially internal to the retaining device, such that the dressing can be secured to the fastening element through the retaining device. The invention also relates to a method of applying the device and to a combined dressing and fastening element.
