Protective liner for use with blood pressure cuffs
A protective liner for use with a blood pressure measuring cuff includes three layers of material configured to protect a person's skin, wick moisture away from the person's skin, and provide a moisture permeable, microporous barrier to microbes. The protective liner is porous and sufficiently thin so that the protective liner will not substantially interfere with blood pressure monitoring through the protective liner. The three layers of material are configured to wick moisture therethrough away from the person's skin, while substantially preventing passage of microbes therethrough.
Cool finger system
A thermal digit wrap system includes a thermal digit wrap assembly having a first edge having at least one loop mated fastener strip, a second edge, a third edge having at least one hook mated fastener strap, a fourth edge; a top side; a bottom side; and an interior volume having at least one cooling gel located between the top side and the bottom side. The thermal digit wrap assembly is structured and arranged to enable it to act in a capacity of a splint and immobilizes an injured digit. The thermal digit wrap system provides an isolated cold-pack via cooling gel to reduce swelling and pain following an injury to the digit.
Cuff for orthotic treatment
The invention relates to a cuff for orthotic treatment of joint or muscle pains in the region of joints of the human or animal body, which as a cross cuff has a first cuff part (1) for application on a first body part below the joint and a second cuff part (2) for application on a second body part above the joint, wherein the two cuff parts are joined to one another by means of a connection region (3) and in each case are formed from a belt that is provided with fastening means and may be laid around the respective body part, wherein the connection region (3) between the two cuff parts on placement of the cuff on the body in the region of the inside of the joint impedes extension of the first body part with respect to the second body part, in that the connecting region is displaced under tensile stress. According to the invention, at least one partial region (4) of the second cuff part (2) above the joint is made to be stretchable (FIG. 1).

Cylindrical bandage
A cylindrical bandage is held in place without using binding means such as strings tied to an upper limb. Additionally, the cylindrical bandage for a lower limb or upper limb fits the shapes and dimensions of a body part and stays on the body part and thus allows great increase in venous return. The cylindrical bandage includes a tubular knit being of a length corresponding to a length of an arm or a leg and a gutter-shaped knit extending from a lengthwise first end of the tubular knit. This gutter-shaped knit has smaller circumferential length than the first end of the tubular knit and has a cut-out section with a horseshoe or V shape.

Protective Film For Application to An Individual's Body
According to an aspect of the disclosure, a protective film for application to a portion of an individual's body, a method for applying a protective film to a portion of an individual's body, and an apparatus with a protective film for application to a portion of the individual's body are provided.
Dual density pressure pad
Provided are orthopedic, dual density pressure pads designed to transfer pressure onto a focused anatomical structure; typically through the assistance of a device that applies a perpendicular or downward force. The pad includes an outer layer including a relatively soft material and an interior support including a rigid material, with the interior support typically having a substantially greater hardness than the outer layer.
Nail plate growth guide surgical implantation kit
A surgical kit for the repair of a nail bed includes implantable nail plate guides adapted to guide the regrowth of a fingernail over a nail bed, drapes, a suture needle with absorbable suture, a suture needle with non-absorbable suture, wound dressings, and all instruments required to perform the procedure. The instruments preferably include an elevator, a needle driver, a clamp, a tweezers, and a scissors. The kit also includes anesthesia, a syringe, and needles for loading and then administering the anesthesia to the finger. The kit may include a tourniquet, antiseptic, and an antiinfective. Therefore, the kit assembles together several nail plate guides, the instruments for implanting a selected one of the nail plate guides onto the nail bed over a patient, the pre-implantation surgical preparation materials, and the post-implantation wound care materials.
