A drape for covering and sealing a porous layer of material over a body of tissue being subjected to a decompressive procedure. The drape includes a sheet of silicone rubber material formed in a generally hemispherical shape with circular perimeter edge and a strip or band of adhesive material positioned on the circular perimeter edge of the hemispherical sheet. The drape may be positioned to cover the porous layer of material that is positioned on the body of tissue to seal the drape and the porous layer to the body of tissue. The drape is configured to be fitted with a port through which suction may be drawn.

The first section and the second section are shaped to eliminate the spatial gaps when the head cradle pad is affixed to the concave surface of the head cradle.

A therapeutic mask system for treatment of the eyes, including a mask portion for attachment to the head of a patient and an eye coverage pod that is detachably coupled to the mask portion. The mask portion can include an eye coverage portion having a receiver in which the eye coverage pod is releasably secured. Alternatively, the therapeutic mask system includes a mask strap and the eye coverage pod is directly secured to the mask strap. The eye coverage pod includes material for delivering thermal, moisture and/or medication therapy and treatment to the eye. The therapeutic mask system can also include a heat-transmissive treatment pad positioned between the pod and the eye of the user.

Method and Device for Packing a Body Cavity and Delivering a Medicament to a Subject

A medical packing device for use within a body cavity of a subject is provided. The medical packing device comprises an absorbent member having at least a first major side surface and at least one depression that is formed in the first major side surface and has a predetermined shape and volume. The at least one depression is defined by a continuous perimeter wall that is formed in the first major side surface and forms a reservoir capable of receiving and retaining a volume of a medicament therein.

Nasal compression device

A nose compression device for treating a nosebleed of a person. The device includes a wire frame having a straight middle section and two end sections angled with respect to the middle section. The device also has a body attached to the wire frame, and two nasal sponges attached to the body for insertion into the person's nasal passages. The end sections are wider than the user's nose, and the device is slid upward on the user's face so that the nasal sponges enter the user's nasal passages. The end sections are then bent inward to a pinch position where they pinch the upper lateral side surfaces of the user's nose. The nasal sponges can be pre-treated with medication to further stop the nosebleed. Ice pack may also be provided that extends over the compression device. The combination of compression, medication, and cooling facilitate treatment of the nosebleed.

Systems and methods can promote wound healing, including a wound dressing having a wound-facing surface and a second surface. The wound-facing surface can be configured to contact a wound of a patient. There can also be at least one conduit having an interior lumen operably connectable to the second surface of the wound dressing, a central window configured to allow air flow from the interior lumen of the conduit to the wound-facing surface of the wound dressing, and a flexible wrap operably connectable to the conduit.
