ABSORBENT ARTICLE, ABSORBENT SYSTEM AND DISPENSING SYSTEM
An absorbent article includes at least two absorbent pads spaced apart from each other. The absorbent article further includes an interconnect member. Each absorbent pad includes an absorbent material configured to absorb a liquid. Each absorbent pad further includes an outer surface. The interconnect member joins the outer surfaces of the at least two absorbent pads. The interconnect member is stretchable.
WOUND PACKING
The present invention relates to a wound packing material, suitable for use in negative pressure wound therapy, comprising a body of a porous material, the body comprising frangible regions defining a plurality of portions, the frangible regions allowing the portions to be selectively removed from the body. The invention further relates to methods of manufacturing the wound packing material, and to methods of its use.
UNIT DOSE DISPENSING MECHANISMS
Mechanisms for dispensing items such as medications and medical supplies. Different mechanisms may be tailored to dispensing different kinds of items, for example medications in single dose packages, vials, syringes, or other similarly-shaped items. The dispensers may be placed in a dispensing unit that includes a lockable restock drawer and a dispense drawer into which items are dispensed by the dispensing mechanisms. The various kinds of dispensing mechanisms may be installed in the restock drawer in any workable proportion and arrangement. The dispensing mechanisms include multiple sensing technologies for tracking and inventory of items and for accurate sensing of items as they are dispensed.
Apparatus to dispense feminine hygiene products with one or more user sensors
A dispenser of feminine pads and tampons activated by a touch sensor or a proximity sensor. The touch of or the proximity of a person's hand closes an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a feminine product dispenser. The feminine product dispenser transports a feminine napkin or tampon to a retrieval tray. The improved design enables the sanitary napkin rail and tampon rail to be adjacent to each other, thereby reducing the width requirements for the cabinet housing the rails. The activation by a touch screen or a proximity sensor significantly improves the selection and dispensing of the desired feminine napkin product and tampon product.
Protective face covering
Disclosed herein are facial covering that are configured to be placed on facial skin and that may be placed on the skin in a sealed relationship such that air leakage is minimized. The covering may include a member configured to fit flush against skin surrounding at least one of nasal air passages and a mouth of a user, the member including at least one aperture to permit breathing through the nasal air passages, the member being configured to adhere to the skin; and filter material positioned within a space defined by the at least one aperture.
Gown system
A gown dispenser system has a plurality of gowns, each having a back region, the gowns folded and stacked back region facing up, such that, pulling on the back region of a gown on top of the stack removes that gown from the stack and exposes the back region of the next gown in the stack, an enclosure containing the stack of gowns, the enclosure having an opening exposing the back region of the gown at the top of the stack, enabling a user to grasp the exposed back region and pull the topmost gown from the enclosure, exposing the next gown in the stack. Gowns are drawn from the enclosure one-at-a-time, at need.
Clean Diaper and Wipe Dispensing Cabinet
A diaper and wipe dispensing cabinet is provided. The device includes a housing centrally disposed on a panel. The housing further includes a front door. The front door provides access to an interior volume of the housing in which diapers are stored. A lower end of the interior volume includes a spring loaded platform that biases a spring upwardly, thereby forcing stored diapers upwardly within the interior volume toward a wide upper region of an aperture disposed on the front door. The wide upper region allows for easy retrieval a diaper when the front door is secured to the housing via a latch. An upper portion of the housing further includes a plurality of members extending upwardly above the housing defining a recessed area. The panel further includes a plurality of shelves for additional storage and at least one hook to attach the device to a support structure.
Adhesive tape
An adhesive tape (1) comprises a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and a release material layer, wherein two edges (11 and 12) extending in the longitudinal direction of the adhesive tape include parallel portions (11a and 12a), the length of one of the two edges (11 and 12) is greater than the length of the other, the ends of the two edges (11 and 12) are connected to the ends of two other edges (13 and 14), and two angles formed between the longer edge of the two edges (11 and 12) extending in the longitudinal direction and the two other edges (13 and 14) are acute angles.
COMBINATION SURGICAL KIT AND HAND RESTRAINT
The present invention relates to a combination surgical kit. The surgical kit can include a plurality of tools for a medical procedure, the plurality of tools including a first set of tools and a second set of tools. The surgical kit can also include a hand/wrist positioning tray device, including a bottom tray configured to hold the first set of tools, a middle tray configured to hold the second set of tools; and a top tray including a recess configured to receive a patients hand for the medical procedure.
