TETHERED SURGICAL SPONGES
The present invention includes the use of a plurality of surgical sponges which are tethered to and contained within individual transparent compartments. The compartments are connected together, side-by-side, in series, to form a single unit line of compartments in which the surgical sponges are located. A pressure fit closure is provided to seal the sponges within their respective compartments.
Biodegradable personal care systems
A biodegradable personal care system which has a biodegradable housing, a biodegradable airtight container positioned in the biodegradable housing, and biodegradable moist wipes positioned inside the biodegradable airtight container. The biodegradable airtight container can be resealable. The biodegradable personal care system can further include a biodegradable dry wipe positioned in a dry wipe container in the biodegradable housing.
STERILE DENTAL SETUP PACK
A system and method for forming a sterile dental pack is disclosed. The method includes preparing a first wrap and a second wrap; arranging a plurality of dental disposable supplies on the first wrap; and wrapping the plurality of dental disposable supplies within the first wrap and the second wrap to form an airtight container. Also disclosed is a sterile dental pack dispensing system. The sterile dental pack dispensing system may include a storage container with an opening, the storage container being configured to store a wrapped sterile dental pack; an output configured to receive the wrapped sterile dental pack from the storage container; and a fiber optic indicator configured to cause the wrapped sterile dental pack to move from the storage container to the output through the opening.
Stoma Cleaning Kit
A kit for cleaning a stoma is generally provided including a container, a plurality of stoma cleaning accessories, and a first external access surface. The container includes a plurality of exterior surfaces housing a plurality of dividers defining separate compartments within the container. The plurality of exterior surfaces defines an opening such that the separate compartments are accessible by a user of the kit. Each of the separate compartments is configured to receive at least one of the plurality of stoma cleaning accessories. The first external access surface is operable with at least one of the exterior surfaces to selectably allow access to the separate compartments. At least one of the exterior surfaces or the first external access surface includes instructions and an indication of an order that each of the plurality of stoma cleaning accessories is utilized to clean the stoma such that each stoma cleaning accessory is sequentially utilized.
ABSORBING MEMBER STORING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an absorbing member storing apparatus, and includes a first storing part (110) in which an absorbing member is stored, a second storing part (120), and a fastening part (130). The fastening part (130) is formed inside the first storing part (110), and the second storing part is fitted into the fastening part (130). According to the present invention, through the opening of the storing apparatus in which an absorbing member and a fluid have been separately stored, the absorbing member, such as sterilized cotton, a sterilized cotton swab, or the like, can be immediately wet with the fluid, thereby enabling the significantly hygienic and convenient storage and use of an absorbing member.
APPARATUS TO DISPENSE FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS WITH ONE OR MORE USER SENSORS
A dispenser of feminine pads and tampons activated by a touch sensor or a proximity sensor. The touch of or the proximity of a person's hand closes an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a feminine product dispenser. The feminine product dispenser transports a feminine napkin or tampon to a retrieval tray. The improved design enables the sanitary napkin rail and tampon rail to be adjacent to each other, thereby reducing the width requirements for the cabinet housing the rails. The activation by a touch screen or a proximity sensor significantly improves the selection and dispensing of the desired feminine napkin product and tampon product.

Unit dose dispensing mechanisms
Mechanisms for dispensing items such as medications and medical supplies. Different mechanisms may be tailored to dispensing different kinds of items, for example medications in single dose packages, vials, syringes, or other similarly-shaped items. The dispensers may be placed in a dispensing unit that includes a lockable restock drawer and a dispense drawer into which items are dispensed by the dispensing mechanisms. The various kinds of dispensing mechanisms may be installed in the restock drawer in any workable proportion and arrangement. The dispensing mechanisms include multiple sensing technologies for tracking and inventory of items and for accurate sensing of items as they are dispensed.
