METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EFFECTING HIGH RECOVERY DESALINATION WITH PRESSURE DRIVEN MEMBRANES
A system and method for switching between flows of water solutions passed in groups of blocks of membrane pressure vessels arranged in parallel in a tapered flow system, wherein the system comprises a system inlet feed line, a system outlet flow line, high pressure booster pumps configured to provide a high pressure feed stream to the system; blocks of membrane pressure vessels arrayed in parallel, and a first and second bypass line each parallel to said blocks.
Dialysis Water Purification System
The invention comprises a control system for monitoring and operating an existing supply water pre-treatment system for supplying de-chlorinated water to dialysis purification systems. The invention includes a controller and an operator interface for programming and interacting with said control systems. The invention further includes an injection assembly having a flow turbine sensor, a reducing agent injector, and an ORP/pH sensor for monitoring and controlling ORP/pH levels of said supply water.
WATER PURIFIER
A water purifier, including a housing, a piston cylinder, a base, and a dust cap. The housing includes a water inlet end and a water outlet end, and a composite filter material and an ultrafiltration membrane are disposed in the housing to constitute a filter element. The piston cylinder is sleeved on the housing. The upper end of the piston cylinder is provided with a suction nozzle. The base includes an upper part and a lower part. The upper part includes a lower bayonet and an upper bayonet. The lower part includes a multipurpose interface and a water inlet nozzle. The dust cap is disposed on the upper end and covers the suction nozzle. The central part of the dust cap protrudes downward to form a flexible sealing plug. The water inlet end of the housing is secured to the lower bayonet of the base.
WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CLEANING THE WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS
Disclosed herein is a water purification apparatus capable of being cleaned at a point of care, and methods for cleaning the water purification apparatus at the point of care. The water purification apparatus and the methods provide an efficient use of a heater for heat disinfection the water purification apparatus, e.g. by recirculating heated fluid to further heat the fluid. Several different cleaning programs are provided that may be utilized for cleaning different parts of the water purification apparatus.
Water treatment system using reverse osmosis process for high salinity low temperature water
A water treatment system comprising a filtration system and a reverse osmosis treatment system, incorporates a system cleansing process the uses feedwater to flush the system and further conveys reverse osmosis treated water through the system conduits by allowing the reverse osmosis treated water to settle at a low pressure system operation, and further by flushing the reverse osmosis treated water at high pressure. The system may incorporate CIP components, as well as a hydraulic turbocharger for recovering energy and boosting pressure alongside a pump system.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEPARATION OF METAL-BEARING PHASES USING ELECTRODIALYSIS
A process for using acid to leach metals from metal silicate, oxide, or oxide-hydroxide feedstock with subsequent alkalinization of the leach liquor, thereby bringing target metal ions into solution and separating the metals as hydroxides, oxides, or oxide-hydroxides. Electrodialysis is used to recycle acid and base in the process. Configurations of the electrochemical cell and means of combining cells in stacks and in series are provided that enable production of acid at high concentration allowing for decreased reactor volumes for leaching and precipitation and improved solid/liquid separation characteristics of the leached slurry.
