Method for treating solvent in wastewater
The present disclosure relates to a method for treating a solvent in wastewater generated in a polycarbonate production process. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method for treating a solvent in wastewater generated in a polycarbonate production process, which can easily recover a high purity solvent regardless of the concentration of the solvent by using a membrane distillation method to reuse it, and contribute to energy savings.
PORE-FILLED ION EXCHANGE POLYELECTROLYTE COMPOSITE MEMBRANE FROM WHICH SURFACE ION EXCHANGE POLYELECTROLYTE HAS BEEN REMOVED AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A pore-filled ion exchange polyelectrolyte composite membrane from which the surface ion exchange polyelectrolyte has been removed and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The ion exchange polyelectrolyte composite membrane exhibits low film resistance and low in-plane-direction swelling degree, and has a smaller film-thickness than a commercial film, and thus, can be used for various purposes. In addition, since the pore-filled ion exchange polyelectrolyte composite membrane is continuously manufactured through a roll-to-roll process, the manufacturing process is simple, and manufacturing costs can be greatly reduced.
METHOD FOR SEPARATING ORGANIC ZINC CATALYST USING FILTERING MEMBRANE
The present disclosure relates to a method for separating an organic zinc catalyst dispersed in a polyalkylene carbonate resin solution by filtering the polyalkylene carbonate resin solution using a composite filtering membrane, which is a composite material comprising a hydroxyl group-containing material and polyolefin material and has a form in which one or both surfaces of the polyolefin material is coated with the hydroxyl group-containing material.
ACRYLOYLOXY-TERMINATED POLYDIMETHYLSILOXANE (AC-PDMS)-BASED THIN-FILM COMPOSITE (TFC) MEMBRANE, AND PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF
The present disclosure provides an acryloyloxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (AC-PDMS)-based thin-film composite (TFC) membrane, and a preparation method and use thereof. In the preparation method, a simple ultraviolet (UV)-induced monomer polymerization strategy based on high UV reactivity among acryloyloxy groups is adopted to prepare the AC-PDMS-based TFC membrane. The high UV reactivity among AC-PDMS monomers can induce the rapid curing of a casting solution to enable the formation of an ultra-thin selective layer and the inhibition of pore penetration for a substrate. By optimizing a UV wavelength, an irradiation time, and a polymer concentration, the prepared AC-PDMS-based TFC membrane has a CO.sub.2 penetration rate of 9,635 GPU and a CO.sub.2/N.sub.2 selectivity of 11.5. The UV-induced monomer polymerization strategy based on material properties provides a novel efficient strategy for preparing an ultra-thin PDMS-based membrane, which can be used for molecular separation.
FILTRATION BASE FOR VACUUM DIAPHRAGM FILTRATION
A filtration base for vacuum membrane filtration applications comprises a membrane bearing area on the upper side of the filtration base, which has a bearing structure and a supporting contour surrounding the bearing structure for a membrane filter placed in the membrane bearing area. The supporting contour has at least one notch which is in flow connection with the bottom side of the membrane bearing area and which is arranged such that it is adapted to be selectively covered by a membrane filter placed in the membrane bearing area.
FLAT MEMBRANE SUPPORT PLATE
A flat membrane support plate includes a connection portion, a honeycomb structural portion and a support portion. The connection portion is configured to connect a diaphragm to the flat membrane support plate in a sealing manner, is arranged at a periphery of the flat membrane support plate, and is provided with at least one water outlet. The honeycomb structural portion is arranged on the flat membrane support plate in an area enclosed by the connection portion, is provided with a first flow channel for communicating with an interior of the entire honeycomb structural portion and communicating the honeycomb structural portion with the water outlet. The support portion is configured for reinforcing the honeycomb structural portion and is arranged between the honeycomb structural portion and the connection portion.
COLD TREATMENT
The present invention relates to a new high-throughput process for reducing impurities in essential oils and extracts (in particular for fragrances, fragrance ingredients, flavours and cosmetic ingredients) under mild conditions. Undesirable natural components such as waxes, but also synthetic materials such as agrochemicals and other environmental pollutants are reduced by using at least one selective nanofiltration membrane. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for reducing coloured components in essential oils to obtain a less coloured or even colourless essential oil, while achieving high re-colouration stability over time. Further, the odour quality is maintained or increased through reduction of undesirable olfactory substances to achieve a purified and higher quality oil.
