Bypass valve with variable filter

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for bypass flow filtering. A bypass valve filter includes at least one wall configured to engage a surface of a bypass valve and a filter surface having a plurality of openings between an inside of the at least one wall and an outside of the at least one wall. One or more openings of the plurality of openings have a first size and one or more other openings of the plurality of openings have a second size, wherein the first size is different than the second size to define different levels of filtering. The bypass valve further includes an open end configured to allow fluid flow therethrough and to the plurality of openings.

Coalescing filter element

One aspect of the disclosure provides a filter element including a first end cap, a second end cap, a ring of filter media and an annular seal. The first end cap defines a cylindrical collar that circumscribes a first central opening and includes a substantially planar first outer surface that extends radially outward from the cylindrical collar to an outer peripheral edge. The second end cap defines a second central opening substantially coaxial with the first central opening. The ring of filter media is disposed between the first end cap and the second end cap, and circumscribes a central cavity in fluid communication with the first central opening and the second central opening. The annular seal is disposed upon the first outer surface of the first end cap and around the cylindrical collar. The annular seal extends axially way from the first outer surface.

An inline filter apparatus includes a housing having an inlet spaced apart from an outlet such that the housing is configured to allow liquid to flow therethrough. A filter portion includes a filter material coupled to a frame. The filter portion includes an open end corresponding to the inlet configured such that liquid flows into the filter portion and a closed end, and the frame tapers from the open end to the closed end.

Locking feature for a filter

A filter element includes a bottom open end joined to a center tube opposite the top open end. The bottom open end defines a radially outer surface and a radially inner surface that is in communication with the central reservoir of the filter element. A locking feature is disposed proximate to the bottom open end. The locking feature includes an entrance slot that is disposed on the radially inner surface of the center tube extending axially from the bottom open end.

Top and bottom loaded filter and locking mechanism

A filter element includes a bottom open end joined to a center tube opposite the top open end. The bottom open end defines a radially outer surface and a radially inner surface that is in communication with the central reservoir of the filter element. A first locking feature is disposed proximate to the bottom open end. The locking feature includes an entrance slot that is disposed on the radially inner surface of the center tube extending axially from the bottom open end. A similar or identical second locking feature is disposed proximate to the top open end.

A filter device comprises a frame with interrupted perimeter having a top surface and a bottom surface and a screen having a plurality of pores is attached to the frame. The filter device designed to fit into an interior of a container. The container is configured to contain a mixture of Demineralised Bone Matrix (DBM) containing bone graft material and liquid. The liquid mixture can be poured out of the container through the pores in the screen on the filter device and separated from the bone graft material while the DBM containing the bone graft material remains in the container. The pores are sized smaller than DBM particles to prevent the DBM particles from separated from the bone graft material with the liquid.

Fuel filter assembly

A fuel filter includes a manifold, a connector element, a filter bowl, a filter element, an inlet shutoff valve, an outlet shutoff valve, an inlet port, an inlet passage, an outlet port, an outlet passage and a relief valve in which the connector element is fixed to the manifold, and the filter bowl is reversibly fixed to the connector element, the connector element and the manifold define a chamber and the chamber is split into a second inlet chamber and a second outlet chamber by the relief valve. The filter bowl is adapted to reversibly receive the filter element and is so configured that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl attached to the connection element, the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber.

Filter system, filter, and method

A filter system for liquid has a filter head with drainage channel and stop element. A filter cartridge is mounted by screw-in movement at the filter head and has a support ring rotatably fastened to its housing part. The support ring has an eccentric closure element and a first positioning element guided toward the stop element by the screw-in movement to position the support ring at the filter head in a rotational position for axially aligning closure element and drainage channel. The closure element is transferred axially into a sealing seat at the filter head to close the drainage channel when screwing on the filter cartridge. The support ring has a second positioning element holding the support ring in a rotationally fixed position at the filter head when unscrewing the filter cartridge so that the closure element is moved out of the sealing seat only in an axial direction.
