Filtration apparatus
A filtration apparatus (10) for treating a fluid comprises a vessel (12), a first partition plate (18) dividing the vessel into first and second chambers (22, 26) and defining a through hole (40), and a filtration module (30) located within the second chamber (26) and including a body section (32) defining an outer diameter which is greater than the diameter of the through hole (40) in the first partition plate (18). The apparatus (10) further comprises a reducing connector (36) having a first end secured to the body section (32) of the filtration module (30) and a second end sealed relative to the through hole (40) in the first partition plate (18) to permit communication between the filtration module (30) and the first chamber (22). In a disclosed embodiment the apparatus (10) includes a second partition plate (20) such that the vessel is divided into first, second and third chambers (22, 24, 26), wherein the filtration module (30) is mounted between the partition plates (18, 20).
DEVICE FOR REDUCING PRESSURE FLUCTUATION OF PRESSURE FILTER FRAME AND PRESSURE FILTER
A device for reducing pressure fluctuation of a pressure filter frame and a pressure filter. The device includes a pressure filter frame that is a cylindrical housing. An inner wall of the pressure filter frame is further provided with a buffer plate. A plurality of openings are provided in the buffer plate. A gap is remained between the buffer plate and the inner wall of the pressure filter frame. A plurality of supporting posts are disposed in the gap, which fixedly connect the inner wall of the pressure filter frame with the buffer plate.
FILTER ASSEMBLY WITH FILTER ELEMENT ENDCAP HAVING INTEGRAL EXTERNAL ROUNDED POLYGON SHAPED SEALING SURFACE
A filter assembly includes a cylindrical filter housing, a filter element housing plate positioned between a high pressure and a low pressure side of the filter housing, the filter element housing plate having a plurality of one female cavities, and a plurality of replaceable filter elements within the filter housing. Each replaceable filter element has an endcap with an external rounded polygon shaped sealing surface engaging peripheral surfaces of an associated female cavity of the filter element housing plate and sealing against peripheral surfaces of the female cavity of the filter element housing plate.
REGENERATIVE MEDIA FILTER
A regenerative filter that includes a filter housing having inlet and outlet zones; a fluid path provided between the inlet and outlet zones; a plurality of filter elements each having an outer surface filter media applied thereto and functioning to filter particulate or contaminants from the fluid path. The filter elements are disposed in an monolithic array. An inlet port arrangement is disposed at the filter housing leading to the inlet zone and is constructed and arranged to direct the fluid path into the filter housing in a manner so as to maintain a controlled turbulence at the inlet zone. The inlet port arrangement comprises a pair of inlet ports that are arranged in juxtaposition at the inlet zone and each having one end where the fluid flow enters. Embodiments that are considered as falling under the scope of the present invention include 1. Single inlet/two or more outlets; 2. Two or more inlets/single outlet, or 3. Two or more inlets and two or more outlets.
LIQUID SEPARATION CONSTITUENT, LIQUID SEPARATION FILTER, COMPRESSOR SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING LIQUID SEPARATION FILTER HAVING MULTILAYER STRUCTURE
A liquid separation constituent is used with being attached to a top plate to and from which a first element portion is attachable and detachable, and includes a second element portion having a fiber layer, an annular first attachment portion to which an upper end portion of the second element portion is attached, and a second attachment portion to which a lower end portion of a second element portion is attached. The first element portion includes an abutting portion abutting on the top plate and an insertion portion inserted into a through hole of the top plate. The first attachment portion includes a hole portion into which the insertion portion of the first element portion removed from the top plate is insertable, and an annular abutting portion abutting on a lower surface of the top plate from which the first element portion is removed.
FILTER ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT WITHIN A FILTER SYSTEM
A filter system includes a housing and a plurality of filter elements disposed in the housing. The plurality of filter elements includes one or more filter elements of a first filter element type and including one or more filter elements of a second filter element type. The system also includes a receptacle plate in the housing, the receptacle plate has at least two different mating elements for attaching filter elements thereto. The receptacle plate includes one or more first mating elements configured to mate with filter elements of the first type and one or more second mating elements configured to mate with filter elements of the second type.
