A prosthetic valve including a leaflet frame configured to be transitioned from a collapsed state having a first diameter to an expanded state having a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter. The leaflet frame has an inlet and outlet end and defining a longitudinal axis. The leaflet frame includes a plurality of frame members that form a framework defining plurality of cells each having an interior cell space, the plurality of cells including an attachment cell. The plurality of frame members includes a plurality of sub-cell attachment members extending into the interior cell space of the attachment cell, the sub-cell attachment members each being configured to define a plurality of attachment locations along a sub-cell attachment line defined within a plane that intersects with the longitudinal axis such that the sub-cell attachment line extends through the interior cell space of the at least one attachment cell.

Implantable artificial bronchus

An implantable artificial bronchus including a body having a proximal upper opening and a distal lower opening. The distal lower opening being in fluid communication with the proximal upper opening, and the body at least partially tapering along a length toward the distal lower opening. The body having a plurality of side openings configured to allow air to enter into and exit the implantable artificial bronchus through the body. A length of the body is greater than 4 times the size of a largest diameter of the body, and the diameter of the proximal upper opening is larger than a diameter of the distal lower opening.

System and methods for treating neurovascular compression

The invention is directed to a system and methods for treating neurovascular compression. Certain preferred embodiments of the invention generally comprise an apparatus having an elongated body portion including a proximal anchor element and distal anchor element. The apparatus also may include one or more marker elements to facilitate placement of the apparatus by the user. The apparatus may be configured to permit the user, after insertion and deployment of the apparatus in a blood vessel, to move the blood vessel so that the blood vessel is no longer in contact with and compressing a nerve or other parts of the nervous system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RESHAPING A HEART VALVE

The present disclosure includes a device for reshaping a heart valve. The device may include a central ring about a central axis and a plurality of arms coupled to the central ring, each of the arms coupled to the central ring at a pivot point at a first end of the arm, the arm comprising an attachment feature at a second point along the arm, the pivot point configured to allow movement of the arm about the pivot point through a plane extending radially from the central axis through the arm. Additionally, the plurality of arms may be contractable and may be extendable such that the hooks extend beyond a dilated heart valve. The present disclosure also includes associated methods and systems.

Artificial vascular graft

The invention relates to an artificial vascular graft comprising a primary scaffold structure encompassing an inner space of the artificial vascular graft, said primary scaffold structure having an inner surface facing towards said inner space and an outer surface facing away from said inner space, a coating on said inner surface, wherein a plurality of grooves is comprised in said coating of said inner surface. The primary scaffold structure comprises further a coating on said outer surface. The primary scaffold structure and the coating on said inner surface and on said outer surface are d designed in such a way that cells, in particular progenitor cells, can migrate from the periphery of said artificial vascular graft through said outer surface of said coating, said primary scaffold structure and said inner surface to said inner space, if the artificial vascular graft is used as intended. The invention relates further to a method for providing said graft.

DEVICE AND METHOD WITH REDUCED PACEMAKER RATE IN HEART VALVE REPLACEMENT

The disclosure relates to heart valve prostheses with the reduced need of pacemaker implantation and improved means for positioning the replacement heart valve.

A stent includes a main body having a plurality of rings that form a helix. Each of the plurality of rings includes a plurality of skewed v-shaped elements that each have a first leg and a second leg that is longer than the first leg. The stent further includes a first end ring and a second end ring positioned to an opposite side of the main body from the first end ring. Each of the plurality of rings of the main body is angled with respect to the first end ring and the second end ring. The stent further includes a first transitional region for connecting the first end ring to the main body, and a second transitional region for connecting the second end ring to the main body.

Stent and Stent Delivery Device

In one embodiment according to the present invention, a stent is described having a generally cylindrical body formed from a single woven nitinol wire. The distal and proximal ends of the stent include a plurality of loops, some of which include marker members used for visualizing the position of the stent. In another embodiment, the previously described stent includes an inner flow diverting layer.

A method for placing a transcatheter stent-valve having replacement leaflets that are attached along their free edges. The stent-valve frame has supports that extend distally of the replacement leaflets to fastening sites. The replacement leaflets are attached along a leaflet base forming a linear attachment to the stent-valve frame. The free edges of the leaflets have cords attached; the cords attach the leaflets to the supports. The stent-valve can be a single component stent-valve or it can be a second component that attaches to a first component or dock.
