A panicle catcher for capturing entrained particles in a fluid is disclosed. The particle catcher can include an enclosure defining a flow channel between an inlet and an outlet. Trapping means may be incorporated into the particle catcher. Where provided, the trapping means can be arranged at or near the inlet to allow fluid comprising entrained particles to enter the flow channel through the inlet and to substantially prevent the fluid comprising entrained particles from exiting the flow channel through the inlet. Filtering means may also be incorporated into the particle catcher. Where provided, the filtering means can be arranged at or near the outlet to keep at least some a part of the entrained particles from exiting the flow channel through the outlet.

A liquid filter for detachable arrangement at a liquid circuit has a filter bellows and an outlet opening at the clean side. A stop valve downstream of the filter bellows closes the outlet opening in an unmounted state of the liquid filter. The stop valve is opened mechanically by a discharge socket of the liquid circuit in a mounted state of the liquid filter. An assembly with liquid circuit and liquid filter detachably arranged at the liquid circuit is provided. The liquid filter has a filter bellows, an outlet opening at the clean side, and a stop valve downstream of the filter bellows closing the outlet opening in an unmounted state of the liquid filter, wherein a discharge socket of the liquid circuit connects to the clean side and actuates and opens mechanically the stop valve of the liquid filter in the mounted state of the liquid filter.

The present disclosure is directed to a filter system for a wind turbine, comprising at least a filter device having a filter housing with a volume portion and a cap portion, both defining a filter volume for receiving the oil filter. The filter housing is equipped with an inlet port, an outlet port and a pressure port. The filter system further comprises a pressurizing device having an interface port, and supply means for providing pressurized gas via the interface port, preferably into the filter housing of the filter device. The pressurizing device is configured for being connectable to the pressure port, preferably via a compensation duct. Furthermore, a method is disclosed, wherein the pressurizing device is connected to the filter housing, lubricant is discharged by applying pressurized gas into the filter volume, the cap portion is removed and an oil filter is subsequently replaced.

The filter bowl is adapted to reversibly receive the filter element and is so configured that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl attached to the connection element the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber. The inlet port mouths through a surface of the manifold, and the inlet port and inlet filter chamber are in fluid communication via the inlet passage.

A potable water filter for an aircraft galley plumbing system is disclosed. In embodiments, the filter includes a body attachable to a mount via a central threaded attachment stud. The stud is surrounded by a filter mount chamber and encloses a central flow channel allowing outflow from the filter body to an outlet port. Potable water enters the mount through an inlet port including a barrel valve that opens to allow water flow when the filter body is screwed onto the stud, and seals off the filter mount chamber when the filter body is absent. The outlet port includes a check valve to prevent backflow into the filter. The filter body houses a solid block of sintered carbon with a hollow core. Water enters the filter chamber and flows around and through the carbon filter before flowing down to the outlet port. The filter body self-vents at its top.
