Filter element with torsion lock and assembly
A liquid filter in the form of a filter element or a filter cartridge provides torsion locking relative to a filter head when the housing of such filter is threaded onto a filter head. Many embodiments employ a filter that includes a nipple portion at a top end with the torsion lock detent provided outboard of the nipple portion or integrated into the nipple portion. Many embodiments employ a simplified shoulder transition region at the top end of a torsion locked filter element. Valve actuation and/or filter differentiation is used in some embodiments. Different torsion locking arrangements, deformable thread profiles and other liquid filter features are disclosed.
WATER TANK WITH FILTER CARTRIDGE
A water tank for a domestic appliance, having a tank base, wherein there is provided on the tank base, for the sealed connection of a filter cartridge, an annular tank sealing surface which surrounds a tank passage opening for the flow of water through the wall of the tank base to the domestic appliance, characterized in that a water passage which bypasses the tank sealing surface is provided from outside the tank sealing surface inward to the tank passage opening, which water passage can be closed by a filter-side actuation element upon insertion of the filter cartridge, in that the tank sealing surface and/or the filter sealing surface of the filter cartridge have a varying radius in relation to a central axis (A), such that the tank sealing surface and/or the filter sealing surface comprise radial indentations and/or radial protuberances.
WATER TANK WITH FILTER CARTRIDGE
A water tank for a household appliance having a connection for a filter cartridge, wherein an annular tank sealing face is provided on the tank bottom for the tight connection of the filter cartridge and the tank sealing face encloses a tank passage opening for the water from the filter cartridge to flow through the wall of the tank bottom to the household appliance, characterized in that the tank sealing face along its circumference has a variable radius in relation to a central axis, so that the tank sealing face comprises radial concavities and/or radial convexities, wherein the convexities and/or concavities have a round profile, and wherein the concavities and/or convexities are configured to periodically oscillate around a circular line.
FILTER HEAD ASSEMBLY HAVING A THREADED BAYONET CONNECTOR ADAPTER WITH A POSITION TOLERANCE IMPROVING RETAINER RING
A filter head assembly includes a filter head and a threaded bayonet connection adapter having a rotational position tolerance improving retainer ring. The rotational position tolerance improving retainer ring providing for and enabling the critical further deformation of the rotational position tolerance improving retainer ring beyond the predetermined final assembly torque to achieve the required critical final rotational position of the threaded bayonet connection adapter for the correct operation of the open and locked position indicators on the filter head.
Manifold assembly and method of use
A manifold assembly and a method of engaging a filter capsule in the manifold assembly are provided.
Filter system, filter, and method
A filter system for liquid has a filter head with drainage channel and stop element. A filter cartridge is mounted by screw-in movement at the filter head and has a support ring rotatably fastened to its housing part. The support ring has an eccentric closure element and a first positioning element guided toward the stop element by the screw-in movement to position the support ring at the filter head in a rotational position for axially aligning closure element and drainage channel. The closure element is transferred axially into a sealing seat at the filter head to close the drainage channel when screwing on the filter cartridge. The support ring has a second positioning element holding the support ring in a rotationally fixed position at the filter head when unscrewing the filter cartridge so that the closure element is moved out of the sealing seat only in an axial direction.
Pipeline filter
A pipeline filter assembly comprising a base assembly, an outer wall, and a lid assembly. The outer wall has a lower end portion and an upper end portion, wherein the upper end portion comprises a lower collar, and the lower collar comprises at least one lock notch spaced around an exterior surface thereof. The lid assembly is configured to couple to the lower collar of the outer wall. The lid assembly has an upper collar configured to threadedly mate with the lower collar. The upper collar has at least one housing that projects from the upper collar, the housing having an interior surface, and at least one biasing clip pivotally mounted within the housing for releasable engagement with the lock notch. A pair of pipeline filter assemblies, wherein at least one connection plate is used.
FILTER CARTRIDGE
A filter cartridge for a household appliance, which is provided with a filter housing, the wall of which separates a housing internal side from a housing external side. A filter inlet opening which in the operation of the filter cartridge is open in relation to the external environment of the filter housing. A device for water conduction which comprises at least one filter chamber having at least one filter medium and terminates in a filter outlet opening for suctioning water from the filter cartridge in the interior of the filter housing downstream of the filter inlet opening relative to the flow direction during operation. A filter connection element having an annular filter port which has an annular filter sealing face for the tight connection of the filter cartridge to a tank sealing face in the water tank.
FILTER DEVICE FOR FILTERING DRINKING WATER
A filter device for filtering drinking water, having a connection device on which a receiving part for connection of a filter cartridge is pivotably mounted. The receiving part has a wall which is at least sectionally rotationally symmetrical and forms a convex sliding surface at which inflow and return channels for water to be filtered that lead to a filter connection open. The wall bears sealingly against an inner wall, curved coaxially therewith, of the connection device, and connection openings for an inflow and return of the water to be filtered open out at the inner wall. The receiving part is pivotable into a working position, in which mouths of the inflow and return channels lie sealingly over the connection openings, and into a changeover position, in which the filter cartridge can be removed from and/or inserted into the receiving part, and the wall of the receiving part sealingly closes off the connection openings for the inflow and outflow of the water to be filtered.
Housing module of a fluid treatment module and fluid treatment module
A housing module of a fluid treatment module of a fluid system is provided with a fluid housing with inlet and outlet for fluid. The fluid housing has a housing part with a receiving chamber for a fluid treatment component for treatment of fluid and an installation opening, closable by a housing closure part, for installation of the fluid treatment component in the receiving chamber.
