INTEGRATED FILTER MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
An integrated filter material, a preparation method and an application. The filter material is composed of a commercial dust removal filter material and a catalyst that is grown on the filter material and that has a function of simultaneously decomposing nitrogen oxides and dioxins. In the preparation method, a precursor solution of manganese and cerium oxides is impregnated on the filter material, and manganese and cerium oxides are grown on the filter material by means of a chemical reaction; and vanadium oxychloride is used as a precursor of vanadium oxide and is impregnated on the filter material, reacts in water, and prepared by drying, hydrothermal and other processes. The composite filter material may remove three kinds of pollutants in flue gas at the same time, and the catalyst is firmly loaded and does not easily fall off.
ARTICLES COMPRISING BINDERS, CROSS-LINKING AGENTS AND/OR OTHER COMPONENTS, AND RELATED METHODS
Articles comprising binders, cross-linking agents and/or other components, and related methods are generally disclosed.
Filter media including adhesives
Articles and methods involving filter media are generally provided. In certain embodiments, the filter media includes at least a first layer, a second layer, and an adhesive resin positioned between the first layer and the second layer. In some embodiments, the first layer may be a pre-filter layer or a support layer. The second layer may, for example, comprise fibers formed by a solution spinning process and/or may comprise fine fibers. In some embodiments, the adhesive resin may be present in a relatively low amount and/or may have a low glass transition temperature. The filter media as a whole may have one or more advantageous properties, including one or more of a high stiffness, a high bond strength between the first layer and the second layer, a high gamma, and/or a low increase in air resistance after being subjected to an IPA vapor discharge. The filter media may be, for example, a HEPA filter and/or an ULPA filter.
LAYERED BODY
It is provided that a layered body having excellent absorption speeds of fuel and the like to the filter media. A layered body comprising a first base material and a second base material, wherein the first base material and the second base material are adhered to each other via an adhesive, the first and second base materials each contain a phenol-based resin and an aliphatic hydrocarbon detected during a retention time of 12.0 to 30.0 minutes under pyrolysis-gas chromatography mass spectrometry (PY-GC/MS), and the adhesive contains 65 mol % or more of a butylene terephthalate unit and 5 mol % or more of a butylene isophthalate unit, and has an acid value of not larger than 100 eq/ton, a glass transition temperature of −10 to 60° C., and a specific gravity of not less than 1.20.
AIR FILTRATION MEDIA HAVING METAL NANOPARTICLE AGGLOMERATES ADHERED THERETO, FORMATION THEREOF AND USE THEREOF
Metal nanoparticle agglomerates may convey biocidal activity to surfaces upon which they are deposited and become adhered, such as various air filtration media. Air filtration media may comprise a plurality of fibers having a plurality of metal nanoparticle agglomerates adhered thereto. The metal nanoparticle agglomerates may comprise a plurality of fused, partially fused, or unfused metal nanoparticles that are associated with one another upon a surface of the plurality of the fibers. Suitable metal nanoparticles for promoting biocidal activity against various pathogens, such as viruses and bacteria, may include copper nanoparticles and/or silver nanoparticles. Masks, inline filters, and air filtration systems may incorporate the air filtration media.
DUAL APPLICATION NANOPARTICLE COATED FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR AIR POLLUTION AND VIRUS ABATEMENT
A combination of nanoparticles applied onto a mask filtration system, exemplarily including 1%-10% graphene; 1%-10% titanium dioxide; 1%-10% zinc oxide; 1%-10% copper oxide; 1%-10% silicon dioxide; and balance solvent is provided.
ANTIPATHOGENIC FACE MASK
Described herein is an antiviral face mask and methods of use thereof to inactivate a virus in contact with the face mask. The face mask may include a fibrous material with silicon nitride powder impregnated therein and a layer surrounding the fibrous material. In some embodiments, silicon nitride is present in the fibrous material at a concentration of about 30 wt. % to about 50 wt. %.
FILTERS FOR VIRUS FILTRATION AND INACTIVATION AND MASK ASSEMBLIES CONTAINING THE SAME
A mask assembly comprising a face covering portion, a pocket connected to the face portion and positioned to cover a wearer’s nose and mouth, where in a filter is removably inserted into the pocket, the filter comprising a porous hydrophobic and lipophobic layer, a diamond - like carbon coated copper layer, and a non- woven fabric layer. A filter containing at least one porous hydrophobic and lipophobic layer, at least one diamond like carbon coated copper layer interposed between two non-woven fabric layers, and at least one additional non- woven fabric layer. A filter comprising at least one porous hydrophobic and lipophobic layer, at least one diamond - like carbon coated copper layer, and at least one non - woven fabric layer, the at least diamond-like carbon coated layer is between the at least one porous hydrophobic and lipophobic layer and at least one non - woven fabric layer.
